This year we celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival differently. For once, we were neither back in my nor Darling’s hometown. We stayed put here in the Klang Valley. That also means that we would not be able to savor the delicious dumplings from our families. For that very same reason, I tried making dumplings but because I have never done this before, I do not know how to tie the dumplings. Hence I did it […]

Anyway, Ethan is currently reading the first of 3 books of #MaxCrumbly series from #1 New York Times best selling Dork Diaries author Rachel Renée Russell. Growing Pineapple in A Pot

I bought a whole pineapple from a grocer store about 3 years ago. A good breed pineapple. I remember it was selling at RM8.90 per fruit. It was very juicy and sweet. I took the crown, placed it in a pot and left it there in my porch.  I did not tend to it. I simply left it there to fend for itself as I wasn’t sure if it will bear any fruit or not […]

The neighbourhood kids will come over to our house (with their own Hot Wheels cars) just to race on those tracks.  I like to join the boys too because I find it interesting to try overcome each obstacles. 5 Ways to Save Money When You Shop Online

What made you start shopping online? I wasn’t a fan of online shopping and often rolled my eyes when my sister talked about her online shopping hauls. They can go on and on about how they got that particular product at such a steal hence creating a tsunami effect on other mothers when they too joined the bandwagon to […]

HOW TO INCORPORATE TEXTURE INTO INTERIOR DESIGN

There can be a plethora of interior design elements that tend to take precedent in any decorating endeavor. Homeowners, however, tend to look at the bigger elements and impart more consideration towards these elements. This is especially so when one is decorating from scratch (take for example, one of those new HDB developments in yishun). When there are more crucial decisions to be made (for example, what color scheme to go for; what key furniture […]
