Santorini Park Cha-am, Hua Hin
We spent the first week of the mid-term school holidays at Hua Hin, Thailand.
Do you know that AirAsia flies direct to Hua Hin now? Previously if you wish to go to Hua Hin, you’ll need to fly to Bangkok and spend a couple of hours journey via train or car to Hua Hin. We almost took the train to Hua Hin when we were in Bangkok last year but decided against it as we were afraid the boys will be too exhausted. But since June 2018, AirAsia started flying direct and we took that opportunity to visit Hua Hin.
I’ve always wanted to visit Hua Hin as I’ve seen people sharing gorgeous pictures of Santorini Park and I can’t believe that I am finally here.
Santorini Park Cha-Am
Opening Hours: Mon – Fri 10:00 – 19:00, Sat – Sun 09:00 – 19:00
Location: Phetkasem Road (198 km. post)
Tel: +66 (0)2 434 6921-8
Entrance fee not inclusive of Waterventures is 150 Baht per person. Children above 110cm requires a ticket to enter so we had to purchase 4 tickets for our family as Ayden is already above 110cm.
The ticket includes one ride/game at Park Zone.
Honestly speaking, this visit to Santorini Park is specially for me. The boys could not be bothered to be walking around this place no matter how photogenic it is.
I made them walk with me on the stone-paved lanes and take plenty of pictures as I just loved the whitewashed building with colourful painted windows.
The boys finally got excited when they saw this toothy dog and took many pictures with it after which they got stuck with me again and forced to take many more family pictures
A tripod is very useful here. I used the timer on my camera to capture all our family photos as I do not want to trouble strangers.
The weather was hot but the bright light makes beautiful pictures so I took more pictures much to the boys’ dismay. Haha!
Even the washroom is beautifully decorated.
Flying cats outside the washroom.
I super love this giant HEART with the word ‘THANK YOU’ written in multiple languages. I found ‘TERIMA KASIH’. Can you see it? I was pointing to it in the above picture.
More pictures taken at the Activity Zone; a 3,000sqm outdoor space.
We did not ride on the 40-metre high Ferris wheel as Ayden did not meet the minimum height requirement.
Ahh.. you see! This kind of things excite the boys. They willingly pose with HULK but SULK when I make them pose with me
Meanwhile, the Daddy was the happiest posing with a zombie
We used up our tickets to let Ethan enjoy the games here. He enjoyed the XD Dark Ride 7D interactive game which requires TWO tickets per game. The Daddy and Ethan used the balance of two tickets for a 4D ride. Ayden and I did not ride or try any games.
For the love of Pad Thai, I went cycling around Cha-am to look for one and found it here
Pad Thai 95 Baht
The boys finally found umbrellas on our way out to shield them from the hot sunshine but guess what? It started to rain! Can you see raindrops falling?
We thought we are going to spend only an hour here but ended up exploring for almost 3 hours! It was quite fun actually, for me and the Daddy at least. The boys were however so relieved when I said, “let’s get back to our resort”

Looks like a super fun place to have fun with family members. :)
The flying cats look really funny. :p
Good news to have AA flies direct to Hua Hin. No need to waste time at airport.
Plan to visit it this year end. If everything goes according to plan I should be going over. Santorini park is one of the agenda.
I don’t even know that there is such a place called Hua Hin. Good that all of you enjoyed the holidays there!
I wish they would fly some place direct from Sibu other than KL and Kuching, not even to KK.
Looks like you had lovely weather.
So dreamy this set of photo, you used filter?
William & zombie, like good buddy eh, haha!
This Santorini Park is such an exciting and interesting place to take lovely family photos! You have taken them better than what my friends had. I believe you have good sense of creativity and keen eyes for good angles. Keep it up! Khob Khun Mak for sharing the photos.
