Novotel Phuket Karon Beach Resort

10 minutes drive from Patong and right across Karon Beach, we are back at Novotel Phuket Karon Beach Resort and Spa after two years! We were here a couple of years ago and loved how family friendly this resort is that it prompted us to return when we decided to revisit Phuket last month.

Refreshing welcome drink upon arrival.

First thing first, we hopped onto the hotel’s complimentary buggy and driven past the hotel’s main pool to our suite.

With a master bedroom boasting a large comfortable bed, adjoining a spacious living area with a convertible sofa bed for children, the family fun suites are ideal for families or groups. The Suites at this Phuket Resort come along with a large bathtub. Complimentary Wi-Fi access, Play Station 4, special kids’ amenities and complimentary activities at Kid’s World are included.

Super love the floor to ceiling glass walls that allow plenty of natural lighting into the room. Our spacious room opens to a private plunge pool with jacuzzi.

The private jacuzzi pool is perfect any time of the day.

We sometimes order room service just to hang out at this private space of ours.

Soaking up the delightful morning sun with a dip in the plunge pool while having breakfast at our personal space.

This is the boys’ room.

Their room is made up to the theme of Hotel Transylvania 3 as part of Novotel x Hotel Transylvania 3 collaboration.

The boys also received some official Hotel Transylvania 3 merchandises much to their delight.

POOL FOAM PARTY

One thing you would not want to miss when you are staying in Novotel Phuket Karon Beach Resort & Spa is their POOL FOAM PARTY.

We were extremely excited to experience for the very first time, a pool foam party that is complementary for resort guests.

The pool foam party is not only fantastically enjoyable, it is also a great picture opportunity. It looks like I’m swimming in the snow in Phuket!

FUN BOAT RIDE

Other than the pool foam party, the boys also enjoyed their fun boat ride with Batman at the resort’s main pool.

I did a video of a similar boat ride with the boys’ super hero when we were here a couple of years ago. The only difference is this fun activity is now held at the resort’s main pool.

WALK ON WATER

Ayden first did Walk On Water two years ago during our stay here. Back then, he did not move much in the ball. Now, he can even run on water.

POPSICLE HOTLINE

Another FUN feature here at the resort is the POPSICLE HOTLINE.

All you need to do is pick up the phone and request for a popsicle and you’ll be rewarded with a refreshing treat for FREE!

Nothing beats having a cold, refreshing treat on a beautiful sunny day by the pool.

KIDS WORLD

One reason that kept us coming back to Novotel Phuket Karon Beach Resort and Spa is the complementary ‘babysitting’ service at Kids World.

Here at Kids World, the boys are kept occupied with various fun activities and games in a secure environment while the daddy and I go for our spa session. All we need to do is to leave our contact number with the staff so they can reach us anytime. Children at Kids World are not allowed to leave the place until their parents/guardian comes to collect them.

There is a ball pool with a slide, LCD TV, Foosball corner and lots of toys and activities to keep them entertained.

IN BALANCE BY NOVOTEL

While the boys are kept safe and occupied at Kids World, the daddy and I took this golden opportunity to get our much need aromatherapy couple massage at the resort’s In Balance by Novotel.

I enjoyed my massage session as my therapist was extremely pleasant. Her smooth and continuous strokes helps me relax. I feel totally rejuvenated at the end of the session. My therapist was very thorough. She checked if I am comfortable with the temperature of the room as well as the music that is playing. Little details like this leaves a lasting impression on me. I knew right away that I am in good hands.

KIDS MENU

We love the Kids Menu here.

The Kids Menu features a wide selection of healthy eats for children at reasonable prices.

Throughout our stay at this resort, we dine mostly at Joe Kool’s as it is a poolside dining place.

A must-have at Joe Kool’s is the family size pizza.

A freshly baked 18″ family-size pizza that is sure to satisfy, we were in for a treat with the generous toppings with lots and lots of cheese.

Just look at that cheese!

Coconut is a must whenever we are in Thailand. There is something about Thai coconuts that drives us nuts and wanting for more. It’s fragrant and sweeter than the ones we have here in Malaysia.

OCEAN’S ITALIAN

We dined at Ocean’s Italian, one of the better known restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine in Phuket during one of the evenings we were here.

The boys had this soup of mix bean, onion, celery and tomatoes in vegetable stock together with Shirley Temple drink that is made up of grenadine syrup, coke and maraschino cherry.

TAGLIATELLE CARBONARA

Homemade tagliatelle, parmesan cheese in an egg yolk and mushroom cream sauce with bacon

CHOCOLATE FONDUE

Chocolate chili ice cream, macaron, candied orange and ginger

ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY

We stumbled upon this lush herb garden in the vicinity of the resort. How wonderful to see they grow their own herbs.

This is my kind of dream garden to have at home.

The resort also recycles stuffs and turned them into beautiful and interesting decorative items.

I appreciate every single effort in preserving our environment and applaud Novotel Phuket Karon Beach Resort for their commitment and creativity to beautify its surrounding with recycled items. The boys took notice of these too and I am sure it made an impact to them. It educates them to appreciate and preserve Mother Nature too.

Novotel Phuket Karon Beach Resort and Spa is totally deserving to be one of the top choice for Phuket family resort for all their effort in making a family holiday a memorable one not only for the parents but the children too.

We caught the most beautiful sunset at Karon Beach during our stay here.
