Playing with snakes on the set of MHI, TV3

I got a call from Malaysia Hari Ini (MHI TV3) inviting me to demo lantern making just few days before CNY. Coincidentally I had just done a demo with TV2’s Hello On Two so I still have all the materials ready. If my stint on HOT, TV2 is in English, this time on MHI it is in BM and I’m so glad! I think my spoken BM is so much better than my rojak English!

On the eve of Chinese New Year (9/2/2013), we made our way to Sri Pentas, TV3. As usual, the make-up artist did my make-up.

My slot began with an interview where the hosts talked to me about lantern making and more.

Ethan obediently sat with Darling and the rest of the crew in the Studio during filming.

My next slot is to demo making a lantern and unaware to me, there were a couple of pythons in the Studio then! The hosts then invited Ethan to join us in the Studio to my surprise! Ethan obligingly joined us on set :D

Ethan was the first to spot the pythons on the set and alerted us all.

Surprise, surprise! It was lan pet pet on the set with his two pet pythons!

Lan invited Ethan to play with his pet pythons but that boy was hesitant initially. Lan was very gentle and managed to persuade Ethan to touch them.

Ethan got a little shocked when the python first moved in his hand. He did not expect it to move, you know, being the first time touching a real python and all.

He finally got the courage to be left alone with the pythons :D

We had a great time on the set of MHI, TV3.

We were given ample air time and it was an added bonus that Ethan could be on air with me. It is Ethan’s second appearance on TV3 with the first being on KidsNews when he was 2 years old. You can watch him here, so little and cute then :P

As I was leaving after we are done with the show, I checked my Facebook to see that I have over 50 new LIKES on my FB Fan page!

COOL! Featured on TV show again! Congratulations! I am quite surprised to see Ethan is not afraid of snakes as I recall back when I was young like him, I used to be afraid of snakes and would not even touch it for GOD sake LOL
