The Curve Christmas Decoration 2016
My favourite time of the year is here where I’ll happily go mall hopping to check out their Christmas decor. I skipped mall hopping last year as we were quite busy but this year I hope to be able to check out several of my regular hang-out malls. One of the first mall in PJ to get their Christmas decor up this year is The Curve. They build a lovely castle in the middle of […]

Counting down to fireworks to welcome 2016
It is our annual ritual to welcome the New Year counting down to the fireworks display at major shopping malls. I’ve been doing this with Darling eversince we were dating and continued the tradition until today. Back in those days when I was dating, we used to take the LRT to the city centre to countdown at KLCC or Dataran Merdeka. These days we don’t do that anymore. We will just drive to the malls […]

It’s already the 14th of December! Yikes! I’ve taken so many pictures of Christmas decors all around the Klang Valley but have yet to post them out. Let’s take a look at The Curve’s Christmas decor this year. Do check out their Christmas decor last year here -> The Curve 2014 Christmas Decor This year their theme is Tales of Christmas Magic where giant books take centrestage. The boys look so tiny standing in front […]

Raya Decoration – The Curve
It’s that time of the year to be sharing the festive decoration in malls around the Klang Valley. I’ll start with The Curve. A kampung setting for Hari Raya. I’ve been to Sunway and they too have Kampung setting. I guess most malls will have Kampung house as their decor this year?

LEGO time
Darling has been regularly dropping Ayden and I off in shopping malls due to the rainy evenings. He pitied us being trapped at home unable to go to the playground so he tries his best to come home, picks us up and drops us off somewhere and picking us up again before fetching Ethan from school. One of Ayden’s favourite hang-out place is at Kids Zone, The Curve. Kids Zone @ The Curve But today, […]

Kids Zone @ The Curve
Ayden and I have been down with boredom at home as it had been raining in the evenings the past weeks making us unable to get out for sunshine and fresh air. Finally I can’t take it anymore and told Darling to drop us in any shopping mall on his way to work. It is also my first time bringing Ayden out alone, without the father and big brother Ethan. Darling dropped us in IKEA […]

CNY Mall decoration: The Curve
The Curve’s Chinese New Year decor this year is an elaborate floating fishing village. View from the first floor. With real fish swimming around, it truly feels like a fishing village. I feel like catching those tilapia. Would have made a very delicious steamed fish dinner :P It is really a fishing village comes to live here. My kids have never been to a real floating village before and this made quite an impression to […]

Christmas Decor: The Curve
Our next stop for the Christmas decor hunt is at The Curve and I must say that they did a great job this year. The beautiful outdoor giant Christmas tree by the water fountain between The Curve and [email protected] I love this! Once inside the Curve, this beautiful sight greeted us. With reindeers, sleigh and all. A slim snowman and its reindeers :D More reindeers. Also, check out Sunway Pyramid’s Christmas decor here. Sunway Pyramid’s Christmas […]

Christmas decorations at The Curve
It’s the most wonderful time of the year and just like previous years, I’ll go mall hopping looking for the best Christmas decor in town. The Christmas decorations in the malls in the Klang Valley are mostly mediocre this year. Nothing to make you gasping, “WOW”! Anyway, here’s the decor at the Curve. Kids will love the gigantic candies on the Christmas trees and the colourful buildings. The Curve’s most wonderful time of the year… […]

Hari Raya Decor @ The Curve
After Sunway Giza, my next stop on Hari Raya decor hunt is at The Curve. It brings us back to the 60’s and while they aim to make us reminisce the nostalgic 60’s, I couldn’t as I was not even born yet then :P But what I do relate is how life was so much simpler than. Look at the ol’ school cinema. This was the kind of cinemas I frequent with my friends, when […]

2D Cartoon Bag Price
I’ve seen 2D Cartoon Bags online for quite a while but always wondered where to get them. I know we can purchase them online but you know me, I don’t do online shopping. Last weekend, we were walking along The Curve’s street bazaar when I chanced upon these 2D Cartoon bags. I stopped immediately to have a look at them. I have no idea how much these are selling elsewhere as I’ve never bothered before. […]

Hari Raya Mall decoration: The Curve
Our next mall decor hunt after 1 Utama is the Curve. ‘Dansa Raya’ is their theme. They have this nice kampung house with large enough varendah for dance and performances. Ethan relaxing at the ‘pangkin’. A pangkin is a traditional Malay raised platform, typically used as a common seating area and gathering place for the community. Beautiful glittering stars These lights, these are what fishermen use to catch fish last time, aren’t they? Correct me […]

Christmas in IPC (Ikano Power Centre) and The Curve 2011
I was in Ikano a couple of days ago. Saw their Swedish Christmas decoration. I think it is not 100% done yet as it is still quite empty. Nevertheless, here are some pictures of the Christmas decoration in IPC this year. The Christmas house Ethan sitting on a log in front of the Christmas house Ethan on stage with a friend Hay and Julbock Ethan on a log again. What is Christmas without the log […]

2011 Hari Raya Aidifitri’s Mall Decorations
Despite being a bit busy lately, I still managed to drop by FOUR malls to check out their Raya decor. I really hope to be able to drop by Pavilion one of these days to check out their “Secret of Hari Raya” celebration featuring GLAM 60s musicals. Here are the decorations that I’ve seen with 1Utama being my favourite. 2011 Raya decor – 1 Utama BATIK and bamboo are the main elements of 1 Utama […]
