Places in kitchen for wallpaper

Even the kitchen needs some makeover to look aesthetically beautiful and combining with wallpapers, they are not thing of the past. You could use some wallpapers to decorate as beautifully and stylish as ever. There are plentiful of patterned or colourful wallpaper in the market and you could get your interior designer from Dakota Crescent or Bukit Merah. You can get your wallpaper up behind your oven, on your ceiling or inside your pantry. Here are some of the creative ways you can consider for your kitchen.

1. Accent wall
You probably wonder what is an accent wall. An accent wall has an eclectic pattern can be use as much for a conversation starter like a piece of art. However, if you do not have any art collection, you could turn it to an abstract design to get your creative fix.

2. Island top
The island top is a sexy furniture in the kitchen and if to put up the wallpaper on the sexy island top, it is rather unconventional to do so. However, you can’t argue with the results. There is a graphic pattern along one side of the island is an ingenious alternative to standard wood panelling. You could put up a floral wallpaper here that gives the mid-century mod feel to this cooking space.

3. Range hood
On the other hand, if you have found a tile or stone that you’ve loved but you still want to work on the wallpaper into the space of your range. Good tips here is what you could do, wrap your favourite pattern around a range hood. You will be ecstatic that you could easily coordinate with the rest of your kitchen’s decor and surface finishes.

4. Kitchen’s ceiling
The right type of lighting fixtures have never fail to please the eye and they are no the only way to decorate the ceiling. There’s also a patch of wallpaper also adds dimension and character – it pairs well with the pendant lights.

5. Wainscoat
The wallpaper can complement the paint, tile or wood panelling in many ways. Do not hesitate to incorporate it in your wainscoat design. For example, the white farmhouse kitchen can achieve a classic look with blue patterned wallpaper combined with crisp white wood panels.

6. Behind the open shelves
Those wallpaper can enhance any open display in your kitchen. Not only it will create the a visual break from your cabinetry but it will also spruce up the dead space behind your shelves. You can also even have fun by branching out when selecting your desired pattern.

7. Behind the oven
There is a secret hidden spot which is behind the oven and often the prime real estate. So, do take advantage of the spotlight with a statement wall covering. The wallpaper can have a dramatic impact if you place it on your kitchen’s backsplash wall.

8. An eat-in space
Perhaps some kitchen comes with a built-in seating area. The walls surrounding the kitchen are a perfect place for a dose of intriguing pattern and colours. You could use some geometric pattern here that can add up a vibrant touch to this contemporary kitchen.

9. Bar area
Your wallpaper does not always have to match your design in kitchen. If you have both bars (like wet and dry), tuck it away in your kitchen, you could mix it up or combine with adorning the interior walls and backsplash with a unique or colourful covering.

10. The peninsula
To get yourself with more elegant bar design, you could set up open peninsula with bar-style seating. The right kind of wallpaper will give you and your guests something to admire during happy hour. You could give the kitchen a contemporary warm striped pattern so it looks more inviting and welcoming for anyone to join the conversation.

11. Kitchen entrance
Technically, you are required to put up wallpaper on both sides, in and out of the kitchen. However, in one glance at a stunning wall covering, the moment you enter the kitchen and no doubt it will get you into the zone to cook up your next gourmet for your invited guests.

12. Pantry
Your pantry could also use some contemporary or traditional pattern wallpaper so it looks fun. Besides, you won’t find fetching your food is a daunting tasks to do anymore.
