Little helper in the kitchen
This year with big brother Ethan in the school’s morning session, I started to cook dinner daily as we will have dinner and go to bed earlier compared to when he was in the evening session. The fact that lil Ayden is turning 3 and is able to help in the kitchen is also a contributing factor to me cooking more often.
I do my marketing once a week and try to make sure I have enough vegetables to last the entire week. Sometimes I run short of veges and that is the time I am glad I have my potted garden in the porch.
My ever ready homegrown organic spinach. I have ready supplies of spinach at any time so I need not worry if I run out of veges. All I need to do is bring Ayden out to the porch and he will harvest them for me
Ayden will also help me wash and pluck the leaves for me.
He does the same for most other vegetables I cook eg the okra as shown above.
He will drain them for me and all I have to do is chop some garlic and start frying.
I trust him on this. LoL. If you dine at my house and find a worm that Ayden may have overlooked, need not be afraid as that worm is guaranteed to be a healthy and organic one
The boys love it when I fry spinach with garlic and wolfberries.
Check out my potted garden success:

- Organic Pak Choy
- Brinjal in pots
- Okra in pots

Ayden is such a good helper! In another few years he will take over from you and stir-fry the vegetables as well!

It is good to get the boys to help out in the kitchen. I do marketing twice a week.
Maybe I would start to plant some veggie at home.

It is so good for you to train your sons to help you in the kitchen, they will grow up to be a loving husband to their wife in future. Indeed, you have raised them well.
