Popular Chinese New Year Snack : Chicken Floss Roll
Chicken Floss Roll is one of the more popular Chinese New Year snack around. It is extremely addictive that once you start, you’ll find it difficult to stop eating them.
It is also expensive to buy them so I decided to resume making them this year. I used to make this every year before I have kids. The boys are pretty okay on their own these days so I can sneak some time making one of my favourite CNY snacks
All that is needed to make this popular snack are chicken floss, popiah skin and some flour to act as the glue.
Let’s watch Sifu Ayden guide us on how to make this delicious chicken floss roll:

So hardworking this year mommy Merryn :) Thumbs up to you!
Try Glory Brand (made in Singapore) shrimp floss instead – like sambal, very nice.
Hahahaha, so cute Ayden says he doesn’t know how to wrap. This mommy is so diligent, can wrap so many tiny, tiny popiah rolls. Tabik lah.
this is very nice.
I love to watch Ayden on videos. He is so charming and not shy at all.
Now I could see how easy to make this and they sell so expensive outside at the shops.
No CNY celebrations period for me, so I will buy a tin to munch in Japan.
