Fried Potato Patties

Had too many potatoes but did not know what to do with them. So tried making some potato patties. The result? We just loved it. The fried patties was so fragrant. Ethan loves this. He can have his rice with just this patties and doesn’t even bother other dishes. I think I’ll be making more of it in the very near future!

Ingredients:
Minced chicken meat
finely grated carrots
salt and pepper

potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)
some fried small onions
some chopped celery
a little bit of cornstarch

egg (beaten)

1. Mix the minced meat and grated carrots; season with salt and pepper. Fry them quickly in a wok till the meat browns.

2. Scoop them out and add into the mashed potatoes. Add in the fried onions, chopped celery and a little bit of cornstarch.

3. Knead into small balls and flatten.

4. Dip the patties into the beaten egg.

5. Deep fry till golden brown and serve.
