Basket Bin

I do not have to worry having rubbish strewn all over my classroom. That rarely happens as the kids can’t WAIT to get rid of their rubbish. They’d sometimes deliberately LOOK for rubbish to dispose! Why? Because I have this… The kids FIGHT for a slam dunk. Now.. isn’t that a great way to keep the room clean? :D

Milk will cause bad breath?

* 48 hours sticky post. Scroll down for latest update *  I realised something in Ethan with his previous growing up milk. Each time after drinking his milk, his breath kinda stinks. Checked with his paed and was told to feed him lots of water after his feed to ‘wash’ the sweetness away. Apparently milk will cause bad breath within minutes especially if the milk is too sweet. I actually Googled to see what causes bad breath […]

Making your own bread crumbs

I’m a bread person. I eat bread in the morning. I eat bread in the afternoon. I eat bread in the evening. I eat bread at night. Okay, maybe that’s a little exaggerating. I don’t eat bread in the afternoon unless I’m out then Tuna Sandwich will be my lunch. Anyway, you can imagine the amount of bread I have at home. We always have left-overs. So what do I do with them? Turn them […]

Space Art

Ethan loves the outer space. He found this picture online the other day. He loves it so much that he printed it out. Since he loves it very much I thought of converting it into a piece of art. We managed to make the above inspired by the picture that he printed out earlier. What I did was to cut the shapes of planets, meteorite and more out of cardboard. We brought those to the […]

P&G ‘Thank you mom for seeing the potential in every child’ Official Launch

Sometimes all a person needs is one chance, a chance to gain the confidence that comes with achievement. For people with intellectual disabilities, Special Olympics holds dear to their hearts as this is a place they find success, joy and friendship through sports. Heart-touching stories documenting positive transformations of intellectual disabled children have inspired two caring companies, Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Tesco to launch a fund-raising campaign for the non-profit organisation today. The goal […]

Blogger’s New Word Verification Look

Just like majority of other bloggers out there, one of my routine is to hop into other blogger’s blog, read and leave comments. Yeah, I know many out there who skipped the reading part and goes straight to comment just to leave their footprint. It is obvious in food post where we painstakingly wrote about how bad the food was even though they looked good in pictures and you see comments such as, “DELISH! MUST […]

There’s a relatively new Taiwanese Dessert House in SS2 called Isenbin. Being a loyal Snowflake fan, I cringe at every new Taiwanese Dessert House that mushroom-ed in town. I walk pass this like every other day and it baffles me how TWO pictures can be so SAME yet so DIFFERENT!
