Christmas And New Year’s Eve Gastronomic Delights At Impiana KLCC Hotel
This festive season, discerning diners will be spoilt for choice at Impiana KLCC Hotel’s renowned food and beverage outlets CEDAR on 15 – a chic and contemporary rooftop restaurant and bar with a stunning panoramic view of the Kuala Lumpur city skyline – and Tonka Bean Café & Deli, the hotel’s cosy and stylish casual dining restaurant.
Diners can look forward to an array of culinary delights to celebrate Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve with their loved ones before ushering in year 2020 with a countdown party at Cedar on 15 and the Hotel’s infinity edge pool.
At Tonka Bean Café and Deli, a sumptuous buffet dinner spread with popular dishes from around the world awaits diners on Christmas Eve. Guests will enjoy tucking into much-loved favourites including Whole Roasted Turkey with Apple and Chestnut Stuffing; Roasted Beef with Yorkshire Pudding; Veal Bratwurst on Sauerkraut; Gratinated Anglaise Oysters on Sea Salt and Roasted Pumpkin Soup with Toasted Smoked Duck.
Diners with a penchant for desserts will be pleasantly surprised by a pretty dessert counter featuring a Christmas Yule Log cake, Christmas Stollen, Pistachio Cherry Cheese Cake, Morello Cherry Tarts, Christmas Cookies and unlimited servings of Baskin Robbins ice-cream with 18 flavours to choose from.
To add to the festive mood, a live band will entertain guests as they dine, and kids will be delighted with the appearance of Santa Claus and Christmas carollers at the event.

The celebration continues on Christmas Day with a Christmas High Tea from half past noon until late afternoon, presenting the perfect opportunity for guests to celebrate the holiday with their family and friends. Delicacies served will cater to a variety of taste buds. These include Pan Fried Seabass with Mushroom Ragout and Capers Olive Cream; Roasted Whole Turkey with Apple Stuffing and Cranberry Sauce; Beef Wellington with Yorkshire Pudding and Au Jus; Grilled Marinated Chicken with Pearl Onion and Thyme Glaze; Fish Tikka Masala; Lamb Kurma with Potatoes; Chicken Murtabak; Nasi Lemak with Rendang Daging and Sambal Ikan Tongkol; Roasted Chicken with Fragrant Rice and Condiments and Braised Mushrooms with Broccoli and Dry Scallops.
As a high tea would not be complete without scones, a desserts and pastries corner will feature English Scones, Muffins, Danish Pastries, Lemon Curd Trifle, an assortment of Malay kuih and plenty more.
Entertainment for kids includes gingerbread decorating and face painting sessions, balloon sculpting, a drawing competition, clown and Santa Claus’ presence at a dedicated children’s corner in the restaurant.

CEDAR on 15 city-view restaurant and bar, with its impressive panoramic view of the Kuala Lumpur city skyline, is the perfect venue for diners seeking an unforgettable and exclusive dining experience on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
This year, the five-course Christmas Eve dinner menu presents a choice of main dishes: Turkey with Chestnut Stuffing (served with braised red cabbage and dry fruits; Brussels sprouts and baby carrots; giblet and cranberry sauce); Grilled Australian Angus Beef (with honey shallot confit, hasselback potatoes, Brussels sprouts and baby carrots and three-pepper sauce) or Oven Roasted Cod Fish (served with caramelised endive; asparagus batons and baby carrots and light clam garlic sauce). A vegetarian menu is also available. A Christmas Cherry Tart with Strawberry Ice-cream will be served as a dessert.

I bought a rack of New Zealand lamb this morning, uncooked and it’s not very big…and it cost over RM70. *faints* Might as well go to a buffet like this and eat till kingdom come!
