Ethan’s Turn
A reader asked me the other day why is my blog mostly about Ayden and is lacking on Ethan’s update? Well, I can only tell him that Ethan spends most of his time in school and by the time he is home, he will be busy with his own stuffs where else Ayden is ALWAYS with me hence the biased update. Anyway, today’s update is dedicated to Ethan. It is ALL ABOUT ETHAN today. I […]

Activities for Toddlers in KidZania
We brought the boys to KidZania today. I was surprised that we needed to pay RM39 for Ayden to enter and play too. I asked them what can a 2 1/2 year old kid do in KidZania? To my amazement, they told me there are 19 activities suitable for toddlers in KidZania. Ethan’s entrance fee is RM80 (9 year old) while both Darling and I are RM39 each for parents. So let’s check out what are the […]

Stamping Activity for Toddlers
Big brother Ethan came home with his art homework last week. His task for that week was stamping using okra and leaves. Of course little brother Ayden won’t let the big brother work on his homework in peace unless he is given the opportunity to do the same too. So I got an extra okra for Ayden to have fun together with Ethan. I wrapped the okra with tissue as their hand gets itchy holding […]

Monkeys
I always sing with Ayden the nursery rhyme that goes like this, “Mummy called the doctor and the doctor said, ‘No more monkeys jumping on the bed’ “ The other day when Ayden was admitted in the hospital, I introduced the doctors and nurses to him. He laughed and said we are the monkeys the doctor has always been telling not to jump on the bed. I laughed with him and never thought much about […]

Our home-cooked dinner
These days I jadi macam full-time cook jer. Early morning, cook. Evening, cook. But why am I complaining lah, this IS the job of a stay-at-home-mom what kan? If I don’t cook then stay at home for what? But then again I have not been cooking for the many, many years I have been staying at home :P Kor-Kor is busy upstairs in his room, catching up on homework for the one week that he […]

School Reopens
School reopens. I am sure the children will be sharing with each other what they did during the school holidays. Ethan has done nothing much except being in the hospital. The Daddy did ask the boys what they want to do the first thing when we are all discharged and they both answered, “to watch Kung Fu Panda 3”. We have not been to the movies eversince Ethan started school in the morning session. So […]

Celebrating Mummy’s Birthday @ THE SQUARE, Novotel Melaka
We were in Melaka two weeks ago for an early celebration of my mother’s birthday as I know I won’t be able to go back to be with her on her actual birthday which is today, 20 March. We went for hi-tea at The Square, Novotel Melaka. There are indoor and outdoor seating to suit your preference. It is breezy and nice outside but the boys chose to sit inside. The first thing that caught […]

Fever and Fits
I am sorry for not answering or returning your calls, replying private messages, comments and more. I know everyone is concerned and wants to know what happened to us, particularly Ayden but I do not have time to explain to each and every one. It was after midnight, 5 days after that horrifying ordeal that we are finally home again. So let me tell you what exactly happened. If you read my previous post, you’ll […]

Sooooooo… I woke up with many pictures of the partial eclipse on my whatsapp. I can’t believe we slept through it all. It has been a rough night. Ethan is on the 4th day of high fever. This morning it peaked at 40C! Haih… The weather is still extremely hot. I believe if I place a cob of corn under the scorching hot sun it will be a popping party >_< Talking about popcorn, it […]

It’s SO HOT!
Gosh why is it so hot these days? I don’t even feel like going to the playground as it is still scorching hot eventhough it is close to 7pm! The big brother Ethan skipped school yesterday and today due to high fever. The 3 of us are prisoners in our own home. We take many showers but sweat buckets as soon as we get out of the bathtub. Urgh! This is what we do everyday – […]

Working Holiday
I love going on a short getaway as that means getting to spend some quality time with the boys but when the hotel we live in comes with complimentary high speed internet access on a Mac, it is poison for me. I’ll end up stealing some time away to do a bit of work. It is even more toxic as I know the boys are having fun in the kids’ corner under the supervision of their […]

Eco World Majestic Season’s Flower Show
My sister-in-law informed us regarding this flower show at Eco World Majestic in Semenyih last month but we did not have the time to go and check it out. Last Sunday, we finally managed to squeeze a couple of hours to drop by just to see what the hype is all about. We went in the afternoon but because the place is too packed, visitors are not allowed to drive in. We were told to […]
