Genting Sky Venture
Genting Sky Venture, the one and only wind tunnel in Asia has been in Genting for quite some time, located at Level T2A, First World Plaza, but I’ve never got the guts to try it until recently.

I went first while Darling looked after Ethan. We changed into our suit (I love my pink jumpsuit) and were briefed on the sign language and also instructed on the basic of flying. Lockers are provided for you to keep your personal belonging as you are not allowed to fly with your phone in your pocket. Shoes are provided too if yours is not suitable. I had to wear their shoes as they forbid heeled boots from flying.

The instructor will first demo to us how to fly and what to do to keep yourself from falling.
Then it’s time for us to fly. I don’t have any pictures of ME flying as Darling did not take any but I have some pictures of HIM -.-
We are not allowed to take pictures actually but I curi-curi take using my fon so pardon the quality of the pics. We can actually purchase a DVD recording of us flying for RM18 but I did not, which I truly regretted now since I flew so well! >_<

As we throw ourselves into the wind tunnel, the instructor will assist to stabilize us. I managed to get myself stabilized in an instant maybe because I’m short? -.- Darling did well too. Once stable, the instructor will let go of us.

I believe I can fly..

I believe I can touch the sky… And before you can sing another line, your time is up. First ONE MINUTE is up.

You’ll get to fly twice. The second time around, the instructor will bring you for a joy ride. That was my favourite part! He brought me flying high up until I disappear from public’s view and drop at lightning speed and up again and drop down again. He also spun me around simulating freefalling through the sky just like a skydiver.
Adrenaline rush to the max! I love it max and was so sad when it ended, I wish I could just go on and on and on!

If you want to have the thrill of jumping out of an airplane but is afraid of your parachute malfunctioning or anything like that, you should try this. At least for once you get to feel what it’s like not having any parts of our body touching the ground. For that brief moment, I was as FREE as a bird!

I think the wind pressure will push me right to the top with my light body weight. I don’t think I will want to try this because I scare..!!

Ethan is only 18kg. The minimum weight I think is 25kg (if I’m not mistaken) Wait for him to fatten up a little first :D
