Giant Lantern @ 1Utama

Mooncake festival is just around the corner. Have you done your mooncake purchases already? I’ve not bought any mooncake this year. They are rather overpriced these days, aren’t they? Mooncakes to me are just like any other cakes, to be eaten for the fun of it. So since it doesn’t matter WHEN I get it, I usually wait until the last 2 days before the actual mooncake day when shopping malls starts to throw prices. I’ll usually go grab some then though sometimes, the flavour that we longed for is no longer available. But it’s okay as it is still much cheaper!

My first mall visit to check-out the Mooncake decor is of course, 1 Utama.

They have this GIGANTIC lantern that is almost 2 storey high!

There. So BIG kan?

Not only that, their MOONCAKES are rather GIGANTIC too! Om nom nom nom.. I wonder how do I finish a mooncake this big? hehehehe…

I think the moon cakes are overly priced. last time can buy in boxes now can only buy 1-2 pieces, that also cost more than RM30.00 *sigh*
