Soft and Fluffy Sugar Doughnuts Recipe
Ayden loves doughnuts and we used to buy for him whenever we are out shopping. But since we are cooped at home during MCO/CMCO, he has been pestering me to make doughnuts for him which I eventually did.
This is our all-time favourite doughnut recipe. It makes soft and fluffy doughnuts using one secret ingredient. Well, it is not such a secret anymore since I am going to reveal it here anyway.
The secret to soft and fluffy doughnuts is potato. Potatoes act as a natural softener.
Ingredients:
100g mashed potato | 100g kentang lenyek
2 cups flour | 2 cawan tepung gandum
2 tablespoon milk powder | 2 sudu besar susu tepung
1 1/2 tablespoon sugar | 1 1/2 sudu besar gula
1/2 teaspoon salt | 1/2 sudu kecil garam
1 1/2 teaspoon yeast | 1 1/2 sudu kecil ragi
1 1/2 tablespoon butter | 1 1/2 sudu besar mentega
1 egg | 1 telur
50g cold water | 50g air sejuk
