Putrade All Suites @ RPGC Ipoh
We were in Ipoh during the year end school holidays recently. This time we stayed at Putrade AllSuites at RPGC Ipoh. Located strategically in Ipoh town yet it remain peaceful, calm and beautifully serene here.
A beautiful place with spacious rooms in apartment style concept, it is reasonably priced too. Our 2-bedroom suite was only RM390 (non-member price) per night. We stayed here for two nights.
The plus point of staying here is the breath taking golf course view during meal times as we had our breakfast and some of our meals (lunch and dinner) at Fairway Restaurant at the Clubhouse.
The restaurant at RPGC clubhouse is situated across the road, or a 5 minute walk from the Putrade Allsuites building. We can easily walk across but the boys love buggy rides so much that they will not fail to request for a ride at every meal time.
This is our view at the restaurant. Lovely isn’t it? We simply can’t get enough of it.
Our daily breakfast is at Fairway Restaurant at the Clubhouse.
Breakfast is quite a simple affair with nasi lemak, noodles, toasted bread and some local kuih. I just can’t get enough of the gorgeous view here.
Ala carte meals here is superb with very generous portion. We sometimes dine here when the boys go swimming and got lazy to go out to hunt for food.
This chicken chop is only RM17.50. Juicy boneless chicken thigh served with grilled tomato, corn and french fries, it is pretty affordable to dine here.
Penang Fried Kway Teow in sweet black soya sauce with huge prawns is priced at RM8.90
Ethan loves this a lot and ordered it again the following day.
The boys’ favourite Fish & Chip is RM16.50 only that is why we don’t mine dining here eventhough a trip to Ipoh is usually to go out for food hunt.
I love this Singapore fried mee hoon just as much as I love the fried kway teow. Also priced at RM8.90, it is served with vegetable and prawn cracker.
Fresh fruit juice at RM5.50.
I know right, I thought it will cost a bomb to dine here but am amazed at how friendly it actually is to our wallet.
The operation hours for the swimming pool is at 7am to 11am and closed from 11am to 3pm, then open again from 3pm to 9pm so do take note of the time if you wish to swim here.
Let’s take a look at our two-room suite.
A comfortable apartment style, our suite is clean and spacious.
Look, we even got complementary Dolce Gusto capsule.
Both the rooms are twin-bedded.
Clean beddings and fluffy pillows are enough to keep us through the night.
The showers have excellent water pressure which is a plus point for me.
What separates Putrade Allsuites is not the room – it’s the staff.
It feels like home here as the staffs know us by name (or maybe because the boys buzzed for buggy every time we needed to go to the Clubhouse. Haha). One of them even brought us to town to try out the famous nasi ganja when we asked for recommendation on nice places to eat in Ipoh.
I’ve never been so impressed with a team of people that exude love and generosity.

Such a lovely place and so cheap too, 2 bedroom! May not get that for a room in a hotel in KL, that price. Food is so cheap, definitely not hotel jacked-up prices.
That’s a damn good deal for char kuih teow, with a view too!
Thanks for sharing about this. Now have another choice for hotel to stay in Ipoh.
