Playground Maintenance

We’ve been frequenting this playground since big brother Ethan was a baby. The moment I was out of confinement I started to bring him here, until today together with lil brother Ayden.

This was big brother Ethan when he was 17 months old.

This was lil bro Ayden when he was 2 years old.

You can see that the equipment in the playground had obviously been vandalised over the years. That was back in 2015. I did blog about it wondering when the authorities will replace them.

They finally replaced them, yesterday. It was unbelievable. We have waited for so many years and they actually finally replaced them.

But aiyah, they replaced that tunnel slide with an open slide. What lah, where got fun like that?

More replacements of playground equipment here and also some touch up jobs.

The monkey bar was removed but not replaced. Sobs. No more monkey bars for my monkey boys.

The next day, we went to explore the new equipment but Ayden was more fascinated with these tapes though..

Big brother Ethan could not be bothered with those new equipment and preferred to play football with his friends. He gets injured often playing football. Can you see blood stains on his singlet? :roll:

I like our playground. It is spacious. Best of all is we have a regular community frequenting the playground daily just like me. We’ve known each other from without babies until having a child, two and some of them have three or even more children now.

Have to complain to the authorities, keep nagging them till they get somebody to come and fix everything. Share on Facebook, tag the YB, the people concerned…let it go viral.

  I did not do all those – the FB and go viral part. I think our AJK submitted requests and we finally got them replaced.

I think it’s a must to maintain the playground regularly, cause it involve kids… Good maintenance can prevent from accidents and injuries.

I’m impressed that you didn’t go nuts with Ayden sticking his head into that hole full of sharp edges in the 2nd picture! >.<
