Apple vs Pomelo

Time has changed. At any gatherings, show me a kid without his/her tab and I’ll show you TEN other children WITH their gadget! Same goes with Ayden and my cousins’ toddlers at our recent CNY gathering. The tab is so incorporated into our lives that it seems almost impossible to get around without it.

Don’t get me wrong though. I am not against these gadgets as kids do learn a lot from it and it is actually a great learning tool. Well, we can’t fight technology, can we? Might as well embrace it and use it to their advantage :)

While we are at this, what is your favourite app for the kids? Care to share?

Pomelo is”eyeu” in Chinese which sounds the same as the word meaning “got”, very significant. Apple is “peng kor”, not meaningful. Hehehehehehe!!!!

finding TEN kids with a gadget is way easier than finding ONE without lah, hahahaha!! but good that your Ayden is more interested in the “soft, juicy, warm” pomelo than the “cold, hard” apple.. :D

of course i gotta agree with you.. we cannot eliminate those gadgets at all from the kids world now, it’s a trend and probably also a necessity.. but then everything has a limit and we shall let them know there’s a limit of using the gadgets too..

Hard not to find one without gadgets.

Like me, no phone, no tabs, no ipad. Haha. So the only gadget they have at home is tv. Lol.
