Leg pain, can’t walk?

Ethan and I came back from the playground yesterday evening. Then I swept and mopped the house while this little rascal kept on jumping on the sofa. Suddenly he shouted, “Mummy, leg pain!”. I looked at him and brushed him off as I knew he was only jumping on the sofa and did not knock his leg on anything hard. Then he came down and limped towards me. OMG! What happened?

I checked his legs, nothing wrong. But he kept on pointing to his left knee and told me that it hurt badly. Still I did not see anything wrong with it. He limped and kept on saying that it was too painful to walk. I had to carry him upstairs to bathe him. I did not know what else to do except to paste a couple of ‘koyok‘ or medicated plaster on his knee and pray that his condition will not deteriorate.

Luckily enough, this morning he is back to his usual active self and survived the entire day in school with me. Maybe he had a mild sprain on his knee? I don’t know.. but I’m glad he is better already :D

sometimes could be something else like numbness, itchiness and etc but they don;t know how to express it. My kid was like that last time.

A little bit itch also they complain pain. The other day (during Daddy's leave), she complained about hand pain, leg pain, chest pain and recently nipple pain..LOL. @[email protected]

but based on what you have mentioned about Ethan in the past,I think he wont claim itchiness as pain since he is obviously can differential between the two.Maybe a mild sprain like you have said. He was limping.

Oh dear! Hope he's ok… Keep an eye, anything not usual, go x-ray…just to be sure.

hey..what a coincidence, Ethan and I both need tender love and care la!!!semalam i also feel pain and plastered myself too.."salonpas" not on knee but on shoulders.. both sides… shoulder pain, cannot type?

i think its not really any injuries but in his head, he thinks it is pain. and when you put some plaster on it, it will makes him feels better, and the pain is gone. shan leo have done the same previously when he was around ethan's age. and the moment we offer him any plaster, he will be fine & all happy :D

hahahahah i wonder is real pain or blaff one… anyhow if u note any difference quickly bring to paed.. cos kids bone very 'soft'

Glad that he is fine now! When kids complaint pain, we become really worried. YX also complaining stomach ache. But when he saw ice cream, no more ache. heheh

Poor Ethan. Glad he is alright now. I am so glad mine are older now. Kids are so adorable. lolI love the fact that you put the 'koyok' on him. So cute.take care now.hugs,shakira
