Tickling My Tastebuds

I’m not an early bird as the thought of “The early bird catches the worm” scares the heck out of me. Mind you, I don’t want to be eating worms for breakfast!

I want to have Dim Sums! But Dim Sum breakfast is a very rare treat for me as we don’t have the time during weekday rush and on weekends the earliest we usually leave the house is at noon. I don’t like to have Dim Sum at night as I find the dim sums served are usually not as fresh as those in the mornings.

One of the must-have whenever we go for Dim Sum is Taro Dumplings (Wu Kok).
Taro Dumpling (Wu Kok)

Lacy treat: Taro Dumpling Wu Kok Style with Scallop and Miso Sauce is definitely worth waking up early for!

Smooth and fragrant yam ball, coupled with its melt-in-mouth taro skin is a delicious treat to the palate. I can imagine biting into the crispy exterior, sinking into the melting soft centre with its sweetish miso sauce to make it a wholesome experience.

Ok that’s it! I’m driving ME crazy thinking about this mouth-watering treat. I’m going to set my alarm at 5am tomorrow so I can drag Darling and Ethan out for a hearty Dim Sum breakfast!

Are you a big fan of Dim Sum? Where’s your favourite Dim Sum place? Do share as we are keen to explore :D

On another note, while we are busy sourcing for the best dimsum place, here’s a strange vehicle caught on camera in a tunnel in Germany. When the footage is slowed down, we see a strange light that seems to be chasing after it. According to a report, the vehicle could be the missing cargo that was reported a few days before. It’s clear the missing cargo is in fact a car. But what kind of car could possible cause all this drama?

Wake up early and drive to Ipoh for dim sum…Ipoh dim sum restaurants open as early as 6am. Foh San is the most famous dim sum restaurant here, but there are a lot of good ones to choose from along the street. I love dim sum too. Happy dim sum hunting!
