How to remove wallpaper

The first time we replaced the wallpaper in our house, we let the wallpaper people do the removing of the old wall coverings. It cost us at least RM10/roll just for removing. Imagine how much we had to pay as the entire house uses rolls and rolls of wallpaper.

We were not aware that removing old wallpaper can be so easy!

This time around, when we were planning to replace our wallpaper yet again, we removed the old ones ourselves. It’s so easy anybody can do it!

All you need is just a spray can and some water.

Spray water directly onto the wallpaper and leave it for a couple of minutes. Tear the wallpaper away.

Spray water onto any remaining paper on the wall.

Ethan helped us strip all the old wallpaper away.

Our naked room. It’s so easy to do we’ll never get people to remove our old coverings again! DIY and save!

I wish I could write a tutorial on “How to Apply Wallpaper – DIY” but we are not that good. It takes a lot of patience and skill to apply wallpaper, we just had to leave it to the expert :(
