BaoBei Reading Wonderland : Update at 5 months
It has been FIVE months since Ethan first started going to BaoBei. A week after I published his update at 2.5 months, he brought home another set of cards that consists of 11 word cards. I did not recorded a video then as it was only 11 words.
After that initial set of 30, then 42 and later 11, he brought home 66 new cards several days ago! Total that means he has mastered 149 words in 100 days (20 days x 5 mths). How in the world they managed to do that I’m not sure but I tell you, though I managed to learn the first 30 word cards earlier, I now have downgraded to only 20
Ethan can still read all 149 words though. Not only is he reading well, he is already conversing in Mandarin to our delight. He surprised several of our friends the other night during dinner when they heard him conversing in Mandarin with Darling
Here’s a video of him reading the latest 66 word cards if you would like to know the words he mastered. Please ignore my part in the video. Ethan insisted I repeat after him -.-
