I’m naughty this CNY.. So?

There’s no Santa for CNY anyway, so it doesn’t matter if I’m naughty or nice! Anyway, if you don’t already know, the Old Wing of 1 Utama is undergoing major refurbishment. Most of the shops are closed for renovation and shopping is mostly diverted to the New Wing. Popular bookstore is having their relocation sale with rebates up to 90% and more shops are following suit to clear off their stocks before closing at the [...]

Salam 1Malaysia

It was a hectic weekend with people hustling with their last minute shopping, crowding the war-like mall, causing insane jam on each and every road… I had to seek shelter away from it all. I was trapped in 1U So we took a break from all the chaos and sat in a little corner in McD for some much needed peace and quiet. While I was having my first Prosperity Burger of the year, I [...]

He’ll go around choosing his own clothes and when I recommend something, he’ll say that he [...]

Building tunnels, connecting tots

Have you ever wondered why books for new born babies focused mainly on touch, visual and sound? I remembered getting many of those sensory books for Ethan when he was younger. That was because when I was pregnant I read that when babies are born, their brains are ready to learn. As babies grow, they learn many things, but they do not acquire new brain cells. They do not get new muscles, either. Ethan @ [...]

Why I don’t drive!

People all around me are telling me what a waste it is to leave the car at home collecting dust and still not starting to drive. But I can’t help it. Can you blame me for not driving if the first thing I see is this sign at a local shopping mall car park?  The KELUAR/EXIT sign.. and the arrow… Am I suppose to follow the arrow and drive through the wall?! I think I [...]

Who’s that famous Malaccan face?

Today was a super hectic day for me. I was out for 12 hours straight! My latest and last appointment of the day was a meeting with Nuffnang and its client. By then I was already ‘half dead’. Since it was still early, Darling, Ethan and I ‘lepak-ed’ at McD before the meeting. Just as I was munching on the curly fries, I saw a familiar and friendly face waving at us. Darling exclaimed, “Isn’t [...]
