Christmas at 1 Utama 2010

1 Utama is reminding us city folks to go home to our family this festive season with the launch of Christmas at 1 Utama today. They created a ‘homely gathering’ theme and reminded us of the warmth of laughter resonances the chilling air with children bopping and serenading Christmas jingles. Cottages and Christmas trees are picturesquely masked with brazenly white snowflakes. The atmosphere is very inviting, it’s telling us to ‘come home’ and have a blissful time :D
Beautifully decorated Christmas trees
1 Utama’s Christmas official launch on the 30 November 2010. The event line up will be on from 30 November to 27 December 2010. Click here for full event listing and leaflet.
Santa claus is coming to town! The Centre Court is covered with snowflakes and I’m not talking about mini polystyrene balls! You’ve got to touch it to believe it!
The aeriel view of the Centre Court before being covered with snowflakes
The artistic team covering the area with snowflakes
I love Christmas trees and the ones in 1 Utama are beautiful! The snowflakes really adds a touch of winter and I feel Christmas-y already :D
I’m impressed with the cottages. Here are Cold Storage, Famous Amos and Twinings. The cottages are real mind you. You can actually enter and purchase stuffs from it!
The cottages of Memory Lane and Lovely Lace
Lovely Lace has got to be MY favourite! The cottage set up is super cute and if you go to the upper level, you’ll get to see those bears, snowman and more peeking out from the window as shown in the picture above :D
The staff members of Memory Lane. Sweet :D
L’Occitane
Snowflakes covered bridge – NICE!
Snow on flowers
Seats for the guests
Food after the launch
With the launch of Christmas at 1 Utama, I’m also launching MY Christmas trail for the year 2010. Lookout for more Christmas decor all around Klang Valley as I embark on my annual Christmas hunt :P
Stay tuned
