Nissan Teana launched in Malaysia

Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has launched the Teana on the 23 November 2010. Three engine variants are available: a 2.0L, 2.5L and 3.5L, the latter two are V6 engines. We are more keen on the 2.5L V6 Teana as the 2.0L does not look and feel as luxurious while the 3.5L V6 is too ambitious for us! The road tax itself can KILL! @_@
The new generation Teana is competitively priced from RM138K, unlike its previous generation CBU Teana with a massive pricetag of RM230,000. But of course if we are looking at the new 2.5L, the price is RM168K.

Ethan checking out the new Teana. What fascinates him there?
The push button ignition – enables simple engine start-up. Just depress, hold the brake paddle and press the button and you are ready to GO!
The engine
The MR20DE 2.0L (RM138K – RM142K)
The 2.5-litre V6 engine. Darling has a soft spot for V6 engines :D
Beauty is in the details
Luxury you can see
The woodgrain trimmings adds a touch of luxury to the Teana. The 2.5L V6 Teana also comes with  front powered seats (8-way adjustable with memory for driver, 4-way for passenger), powered rear sunshade, steering wheel audio controls etc etc
The back seat. Leather seat only comes with the 2.5L V6 and perforated leather for the 3.5L V6. The 2.0L comes with fabric seats
Passengers at the back need not sweat it out anymore..
LED rear combination lamps
Xenon headlamps (2.5L V6 & 3.5L V6). The 2.0L comes with halogen headlamps.
Tyres 215/60R16. LoL! Like as if I know what that is all about! :P
Wide and spacious trunk can easily fit 2 adults or 3 to 4 hobbit sized people such as ME! :P Would be awesomer if it is deeper though…
Darling test driving the very silent 2.5L V6 Teana
I noticed this small alphabet/numeric on the mirror that kept on changing as Darling drove and guess what? The salesman doesn’t know what it was! Yikes! Can anybody out there enlighten me on what this is?
The triple meter cluster with integrated display and the steering wheel controls for the audio system and cruise control
The interior illumination provides a calm feeling during journey
The colours
The Nissan Teana comes in 8 body colours:
Deep Amethyst Grey – Metallic
Sapphire Black – Metallic
Chardonnay Gold – Metallic
Tungsten Silver – Metallic
Brilliant White – Solid
AND
*Pearl White, *Bordeaux Red (Pearl) and *Luna Blue (Pearl)
*Only available for 3.5L V6
