Soft Launch of Proton Inspira

Was in Mutiara Damansara today for the soft launch of the yet to be officially named Proton Waja Lancer though we all know that it will be named Inspira *unless some big shots up there decide that it will be cool to surprise the nation and name it Asprin instead*
The official launch of the new Proton Inspira will be on the 10 November 2010.
The Waja Lancer (Proton Inspira) runs on a 16 valve dohc mivec engine. Available in red, white, black or silver it comes in 3 different models – 1.8 Manual, 1.8 Auto (RM70,000-RM80,000) and 2.0 Auto (Paddle Shift) (RM80,000-RM90,000). The auto models come with 6 speed auto transmission. Proton is targeting the 1.8 Auto model to be a hit, the best seller.
With just RM1K, you can place your booking for the new Proton Inspira and if you do it today (before 31 December 2010) you’ll be entitled to Free 2 years parts, labour and service.
As already known, this new Proton Inspira has more or less the same characteristic and component as the Mitsubishi Lancer with the most obvious difference will be the front and back bumper modified. Needless to say, the LOGO will definitely NOT be Mitsubishi’s @_@
