"Power of Play with Kleenex" Family Day @ KizSports & Gym 1Utama

After my Studio lesson today, we rushed home for a quick freshening up and then RUSHED out again to attend the Kleenex‘s Family Day at KizSports & Gym 1 Utama. Getting caught in the lunch time traffic did not delay us at all as we managed to be there by 2pm! *wipe sweat*
The MC of the day – Non. Remember him? He used to be my favourite MixFm announcer!
“At Kleenex, we would like to believe we play a small part in advocating for our kids to play freely, in everyday situations. At least, we are committed to providing the best in personal hygiene care for the family so that parents have the peace of mind while their children participate in imaginative spontaneous play.”
Mr. Nathan Kandapper, managing director of Kimberly-Clark Malaysia Singapore
Children today are losing out on many experiences past generations took for granted. On hygiene specifically, parents are increasingly reluctant to let their children get dirty…”
Paediatrician Dr Yong Junina Fadzil
Fun time with Creative Arts Therapist and drama teacher, Abigail Barragry
The kids doing their best to pay attention :D They are actually very impatient as all they wanted to do was go jump into the ball pool instead! LoL..
Meet the Bloggers
What is a bloggers’ day out if not for the bloggers themselves right? Now, let’s see who’s who…
I love her from the bottom of my heart. Why? She made me famous! LoL.. Who is she? She’s non-other than THE Brigitte Rozario of ParenThots
Kawan lama Zaid Mohamad (Author and Parental Coach) and wife Rose. Check out his work here and his blog here. I love his weekly Smart Parenting Column in the New Sunday Times. That is the only reason I buy NST on Sundays!
The person who made it all possible, Sophia Lee, Communications Specialist & Advocate of IN.Deed Communications
A reunion of sort – Me, Sumijelly, Sophia, Zaid and the expecting Chin Pei. We had dinner together last year. Time flies!
The person who tolerated my stupidity and made me clever :D Kimmy and I
Mummy Ling and I
Karen and I
Darren and I
The first time I met this family was during Nuffnang Friso Family Day out early this year and now we are readers of each other’s blog :) They are the Grand Prize winner Nuffnang Family Day out 2008. They won a trip to Disneyland HongKong :) Check out their blog here.
The goodie bag

The food
What is a gathering without the food?
Finger snacks for kids of all ages, adult alike :D
Sandwiches
Spaghetti
Pizza!
Fruits
Those who left early must have missed the ice-cream! I got the ice-cream, but forgot to photograph it :P
The FUN

It was a fun time for the kids and us adults too. This is the first time I get to jump into the ball pool! Was always reluctant to do so in the past, but somehow something made me jump today! haha..
Guess who is this? :D
Jonathan swimming :P
Cavan and Ethan
Caya~lah! My 3-year old rock climbing!
That’s the way,
ah-hah ah-hah,
I like it!
ah-hah, ah-hah,
Yeay! Now, we can ALL go rock climbing together as a family! :D
Ethan loves this!
After all those fun, it was time to clean up. Thanx to Kleenex’s new Hand Sanitizing Moist Wipes that claims to effectively kills 99.9% of germs which include H1N1 flu viruses, cleaning up is a breeze!
It’s NOT sudsy and sticky, is alcohol-free, enriched with aloe vera, Vitamin E and shea butter and has a unique texture and cottony softness to it that helps ensure the skin is cleansed gently but thoroughly.
I’m so going to bring this to Singapore! :D
