Do I have to remove it?
My rascal is getting rascal-er by the day! He treats the couch as his play area. The above picture was taken when he was watching television. Tell me, what do I do? Do I have to remove the couch? Reprimanding doesn’t work as among all things in the house, the couch is his favourite. He eats, naps, reads and does everything there!
He just discovered how fun the couch can be and I don’t wanna be too restrictive but watching tv that way IS a little bit too much don’t you think so? @_@
But boys will be boys… I can only do one thing – hope that he’ll be extra careful…

Home is where MY heart is.
Hope that when he dropped…he will remember how dangerous the couch is. :p
haha… what an energetic boy… i think you should just warn him instead of removing the couch hehe
guess it must be super comfortable for him.
Training to be superman?? hehe. Perhaps you can shift the sofa, put it against the wall…at least he won't fall backwards…
My style : Keep nagging and nagging until she falls down.I suddenly suspect my girl is a boy. Without a bird. Bah!!
Must be careful oh. If Gwen do this sure kena from me..haha
Let him fall a few times…and HOPEFULLY he will learn. Most of the time, they don't! Tsk! Tsk!
Rather than restricting him or removing his favourite corner, train him to take cautions. Send him for wall climbing sessions. They have good trainers there.
My boy is always climbing like that and he managed to train his little sister to do that too! Baby fell twice already but still not afraid. sigh!
as long as he doesnt doze off there, he should be alright!
oh my, I used to like to watch tv like that too, but that was when I am tall enough to stop myself from falling down with my foot. Maybe just tell him with love that he will hurt himself if he fell down. Mama will sakit hati if he has broken hand or broken leg.
no need to remove. if falls off from it one day, he'll remember not to climb again…hehehehhe. just gotta keep an eye
Tats part of growing up, who doesn't fall in their lives? Just make sure tat he knows how to get up by himself.
even if you remove it and replace with something else, he'll keep climbing it….it's the time of his growth when he explores so much
Don't worry, after a while, he will get bored over it. My boys do the same things, when they just discover how fun the couch can be, how i warn them, they are also don't listen, now they get bored of it already.
no need to remove the couch kua. just need to remind him over n over n over again. and hope he tak jatuh kaolat wan. but then thats how they learn.
Falling is 1 thing, but watching tv like that isn't good for the eyes wor. If me, I'd jes switch off the tv n give them an earful. :p
