What’s happening to MY hair?

Each night before I go to sleep, I’ll make sure the room floor is clean and if there are hair strands on it I’ll vacuum it away. BUT every morning when I wake up, I’ll definitely see THIS!

Clumps of hair on the floor! The only time I experienced such drastic hair loss was shortly after giving birth to Ethan. I shed hair like dogs shed fur then. NOW, it’s happening again! Darling said I still have hair like a lion’s mane though :(

Even when I shower and wash my hair, the amount of hair drop is alarming. Should I consult anyone? I don’t have bald spots on my head or anything and I’m feeling fine. Just that seeing the amount of hair like that on the floor each day is troubling me. Question for ladies with long hair, “Is this normal?”

P/S: I should just dim the bathroom lighting so that I won’t see so much hair next time I shower :(

I read somewhere that shedding 100 strands of hair per day is normal. I don't know if this is true.People who have shorter hair styles tend to shed less hair. Maybe it has got to do with the length of hair. Longer hair causes more stress to the roots?Lack of sleep could be one of the reasons too.

Long hair tend to drop more, therefore I cut short my hair. Last 2 weeks went to saloon and the hairdresser said my hair become thin, new hair is growing on top but quite slow? Hmm I step back now for all those perming, straightening or colouring.

I think it's not normal to lose so much hair everyday. I mean, if you only noticed this recently, something must be wrong. Better check with a doctor or go to 101 Hair Care Centre. Just don't go Yun Nam – heard that they con their customers.
