Irene gave me this that day. I decided to experiment with it.
I heat up my Tefal pan. Placed the 'star' in the middle.
Pour the egg in the 'star'. It was supposed to be 'sunny side up' but because I was doing this for Ethan, I couldn't leave the yolk runny. I needed to make sure that the yolk is well cooked so I flipped it once.
Tah~dah! The Star Egg.

Tah~dah! The Star Egg. Ethan's favourite. He has been asking for it 3 days in a row now. What happened over dinner just now? I prepared a 'star egg' for Ethan and an ordinary egg for Darling. Ethan laughed at Darling, "Haha, Ethan's egg got star. Daddy's egg NOTHING!" Goodness, my boy is so cheeky and naughty laughing at his Dad like that! @_@
Irene, because of you I had to STAR the egg for the third consecutive day now. Thank you very much :P

the "instrument" to make star is plastic or metal?
i wonder plastic will not create any site effect or kimia reaction?

I was worried to see it, coz I thought it was plastic mould. About to warn you till I read your comment that it is silicon, heat resistant. Look good, the star egg is really great. Keep it up...good for Ethan!
