TOUS Les Jours Christmas Set Dinner
Tous Les Jours is a French inspired Korean bakery serving wide selection of breads, pastries, cakes and cuisines. Pronounced, “Tu-le-juru”, Tous Les Jours means “Everyday” in French. I suppose it means this is the place you can dine anyday, everyday.
Jalan SS16/1, Subang Jaya,
47500 Selangor
I was greeted by freshly baked breads and pastries as soon as I stepped into the cafe.
Lots and lots of them! I am a bread and pastry lover so seeing all these drives me crazy but today, I am here for another purpose. Not to eat bread solely but to indulge in their Christmas Specials.
Happening the entire month of December (1st to 31st December 2015), TOUS Les Jours is offering Christmas Set Menu consisting of a 3-course dinner at RM48.90 per set.
For RM48.90 per set, you’ll get this hearty meal that consists of a soup, a main course (to choose from 4 selections), a slice of cake and a drink.
The main course to choose from are roasted chicken, grilled salmon, smoked salmon pesto linguine and seafood aglio olio. It was a tough decision for me as they were all looking very delectable and calling out for me to pick them.
Roasted Chicken with homemade brown sauce
The chicken is tender and well marinated. Mashed potato is done perfectly; smooth and creamy and is easily the boys’ favourite. Ethan cleared everything on this plate from the chicken to the herb buttered vegetable on the side.
Grilled Salmon with dill sauce
I’ll always pick salmon. I’m a fish kind of person so this is perfect for me. I shared this with little Ayden as he loves salmon too. Just like big brother Ethan, Ayden cleared the mash potato, brocolli, cauliflower and carrot.
Seafood Aglio Olio
Darling’s selection is the seafood aglio olio.
A generous amount of prawns and squid with just the right note of spiciness, this actually suits me better so we swapped. I had this instead while he shared the salmon with Ayden.
Both Darling and Ayden shared this Smoked Salmon Pesto Linguine. This light and classic dish is suitable for children. Ayden polished almost 3/4 of it while the luxurious smoked salmon went into my tummy :)
The Berry Christmas drink deserves a big applause. It is a refreshing mix of lychee and promegranate topped with invigorating mint leaf making this one of the best mocktails I’ve ever had.
If you want something simple, you can always opt to have the classic Ice Lemon Tea.
Fromage Blanc
Chocolate Franboise
There is also a selection of lovely Christmas cakes freshly baked exclusively for this occassion. Variety choices from Signature Cake, Butter Cream Cake, Cheese Cake, Mousse Cake to Fresh Cream Cake.
Signature Cake includes X’mas Red Velvet and X’mas Black Forest, whilst the butter cream cakes are X’mas Milk Chocolate Cake, X’mas White Chocolate Cake and X’mas Yule Log Cake.
For cheese lovers, the X’mas New Your Cheesecake is a must. Mousse Cake presents its favourites X’mas Tiramisu and X’mas Berry Berry Tiramisu.
The ever-popular fresh cream cakes ranges from X’mas Strawberry Fresh Cream Cake, X’mas Chocolate Strawberry Fresh Cream Cake, X’mas Mixed Fruits Fresh Cream Cake, X’mas Chocolate Chiffon and X’mas Strawberry Chiffon.
Advanced cake order is available at all Tours les Jours outlets in Bukit Bintang, Bangsar, Empire Shopping Gallery and Empire Damansara.
Roasted Whole Chicken with herb and buttered vegetable (RM59.90) is also available for pre-order 3 days in advance. For reservation and more inquiries, please call 03-5036 7749.
Drooling!! So many good food on the table. Am sure gaining weight this season not by eating but looking at the food!! ^^
I have been to their Bukit Bintang shop. I prefer the grilled salmon set but with the sauce on the side. Would be nice if they include coffee or tea in the choice of drinks for the set meal.
Oh this place! We had a recce to their bkt bintang outlet, good selection but calorific :P
Sweet, sweet memory here. My first hug with Ayden. <3
Love the Berry Christmas drink and xmas cake!
Glad you walked 12K steps today … else cannot burn off all these food… hehehehe
Ahhhhh!!!! I would get the first two words right but not the last one. Was teaching The Necklace by Guy de Maupassant in school last time, many could not even pronounce the guy’s name correctly, much less the names of the places in the story.
The seafood aglio olio looks really good but oooooooo……the cakes!!!! Alamak!!!! Red velvet!!!! I want! I want!!!!!
Love their spokeperson LOL
