Shiok! Malaysia Buffet at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur

‘Merdeka’ means ‘independent’ and we Malaysians will be celebrating Malaysia’s Independence Day on the 31st August 2017. The whole build up towards Merdeka Day is celebrated with pride and joy and a reflection on what makes us proud to be Malaysian. There is another word in Bahasa Malaysia that you will hear frequently and that is ‘Makan’. ‘Makan’ means ‘eat’ and boy, we Malaysians just LOVE to eat. We live by the motto, “Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan” or in another word, we are willing to […]

Cook with Ayden: Nyonya Sek Bak

If you noticed, Ayden usually cooks chicken dishes because that is the easiest meat I can buy. I don’t go to morning market hence I do all my grocery shopping in shopping malls. Only recently I introduced prawns to Ayden and he happily cooked Nyonya Assam Prawn with it which we all love very much. Now that Ayden is getting more and more familiar in the kitchen, I start to introduce more varieties of meat […]
