A Day in I-City

The last time we stepped foot in i-City Shah Alam was in 2012 on the first day opening of their Water World. You can read about our I-City Water World experience here. A month ago, we dropped by i-City again after visiting a friend in Klang and oh boy, the place is so different now. We are finally here at Red Carpet, Malaysia’s first all-stars interactive wax museum. No, we did not enter as I […]

Taman Santai Strawberry Park, Genting

A few weeks ago we brought Ayden up to Genting for the very first time. With Ethan, we used to frequent Genting twice a month but after I delivered Ayden, we stopped going up until recently. On our way down after spending 3D/2N in Awana Genting, we stopped by this Taman Santai Strawberry Genting. This strawberry farm is different from the one we’ve been with Ethan quite some time ago called Goh Tong Strawberry Park. […]

Ice Age Adventure 2014 @ Genting International Convention Centre

Darling and I love travelling. We used to travel at least once a year before we had kids but slowed down the moment we became parents. These days, we still travel but our priority is the kids. Before deciding on a place to go, we make sure that the place we are heading to will have plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied. Comfort is also our top priority and that means having easy […]

Awana Genting Hotel

We spent 3D/2N in Awana Genting Hotel last weekend. We chose Awana because the room is spacious and surrounded by greens. The room is spacious with two Queen size bed that we quickly converted into ONE HUGE bed by joining them together. The boys chilling and watching TV on our now super spacious bed :D Complimentary bottled mineral water, tea and coffee. Our room also comes with a long bath much to Ethan’s delight. Shaver, […]

Thistle Port Dickson

We went to Port Dickson again last weekend. This time to celebrate Ethan’s birthday. With Ayden still young, turning 11 month old this month end, we do not even bother to travel anywhere far as it will be very tiring for US as well as Ayden himself. Therefore when Darling told Ethan that he can pick a place to go for his birthday, Darling also reminded him that he is only allowed to choose a […]

Coins for Cuti-Cuti Malaysia

We got so bored the other day that I took out all the coins we have at home and got Ethan to count them. Ayden wanted to play with those coins but I dont let him. I just let him touch them and took them away immediately. It took Ethan forever to arrange those coins in groups of RM1. After about a week, Ethan managed to fill one bottle full and another bottle half. The […]

Submarine Museum, Malacca

One fine day, I saw pictures of my cousin’s hubby and son visiting a submarine. Well, I’ve seen them visiting helicopters, ships and all and kept thinking how nice if Ethan gets to see all those for real and then I saw the SUBMARINE and totally lose it.  You can imagine my excitement! I’ve never seen a real submarine in my life! It’s only fair that this Submerryn gets to see and touch a real […]

My birthday bash @ Philea Resort & Spa, Malacca

Oh my goodness, I just realised I haven’t publish this post. It was supposed to be published last month but I’ve been so caught up with Chinese New Year Ang Pow lantern workshops that I absolutely forgotten to click PUBLISH! >_< My birthday was in December and I had a private birthday party in Philea Resort & Spa in my hometown, Malacca.  Some of my friends. How To Fold The Korean Lamb Head Towel (Jjimjilbang)

I tell you one thing. When I first saw a friend folding this towel for her baby, I have no idea that this is the famous lamb head towels that you see in Korean drama series. My idea of Korea is Psy’s Gangnam Style. That’s it. Only that. I’m not a K-pop fan or anything so you can understand my lack of intelligence in regards to that part of the world. But now I […]

Romantic vacation at Philea Resort and Spa, Melaka

I remember back in 2011, Darling, Ethan and I spent an unforgettable weekend at Philea Resort & Spa, Ayer Keroh Melaka. Back then we stayed in their Pavilion Room. You can read all about it here. Last weekend, we went back there again to have an early birthday celebration but I shall blog more about that later as I am more excited to share how romantic it was this time our stay in their Philea […]

It’s the year end and I am sure most of us have holiday plans all planned out waiting to be executed. With Ayden around we do not want to be travelling too far so we decided on a quick retreat about an hour away from home recently. Our choice of destination – Golden Palm Tree Iconic Resort & Spa, soon they’ll be known as AVANI Sepang GoldCoast Resort. A piece of heaven on Earth but […]

Genting Theme Park will be replaced by Twentieth Century Fox Theme Park

Darling, Ethan and I all have Genting’s Annual Passport but Darling’s and mine expired some time ago. We wanted to renew it but were not allowed. We were quite pissed then as Ethan’s passport is still valid and without ours, we have to fork out a large sum of money to enter the Theme Park together. I brought the matter up to the management and was told that the Theme Park will be closed sometime […]

World Club Room @ Genting

Not too long before Chinese New Year, we went up to Genting for the weekend. We don’t usually stay the night when we make a trip up there but this time we did and the place we stayed was in World Club Room at First World.  Our impression of First World used to be ‘the largest hotel with the smallest room’ in Genting but this time we were proven extremely wrong!  As we entered our […]

I’ve been wanting to try the famous Klebang Original Coconut Shake since like forever but never got the chance even though it’s not very far away from my parents’ place. Hippopotamus @ Singapore Zoo

After visiting our local zoo and seeing how sad all the caged monkeys and the rest of the animals are, we don’t really quite like zoos anymore until we came across Singapore Zoo. He has never imagined a hippo to be so graceful until he […]

The MUST drink in Singapore

Singapore has a tropical climate so the island is warm and humid throughout the year.  The average temperature is around 31oC so it’s important to drink enough water to keep you hydrated. Remember my post here saying that I’m unimpressed with the Christmas street lighting of Orchard Road, Singapore? Well, that is because we have a much more colorful street lighting in Sunway!
