Worms for breakfast?

Breakfast is usually the first meal of the day. How many of you have breakfast everyday before you leave for work (or school)?  Majority of my students don’t take breakfast before they go to school! *And you wonder why you can’t concentrate in class!* We were at this amazing place last weekend and ate something yummy during breakfast. It never occured to us that it will end up looking ‘different’ on camera! When Kimmy played with my […]

Chubby Is Cute?

My mother and niece stayed with me for almost a week recently. One day while she was watching tv with Ethan and my niece, she saw a really skinny frog and exclaimed, “Alamak SKINNY nyer macam ETHAN!!!” I guess most of you are familiar with that frog! I posted that on FB and as usual, crazy comments started pouring in :D A friend commented that my mom is implying that Ethan should eat more… but […]

The food’s digested so here is my full entry after the teaser on our dinner with Alan Yun the other day :P We were treated to a scrumptious dinner at Alan’s newly opened restaurant Pin Xiang @ Aman Suria. It’s 4.30am and I really should be sleeping. Well, I was asleep but somehow I got up again. Maybe I am still unable to digest that I’ve just dined with Alan Yun I was already smitten by his charming smile when we first dined at Terrace Arms a fortnight ago. Back then we were hosted by Guinness and Terrace Arms. Today is a completely different scenario though for today, Alan played host to us. Yes, […]

Snowflake indulgence

I work at The Strands twice a week from morning till noon. The time I leave my working place is usually the hottest being midday. Thank goodness there is this Taiwanese dessert house nearby called Snowflake. From the first time I stepped foot in there, I was hooked. I am now addicted to their ice dessert that I must have my fix at least twice a week! It’s self-service and you can always tell if […]

Twice a week he will go grocery shopping at Jusco in the evenings after work. He’ll buy chicken and fish from there too. I know, I know.. I can hear some of you shouting, […]

All about EGGS

I boiled some hard boiled eggs the other day and left it on the table to cool. Darling was way too helpful when he took the cooled eggs (with the shell still intact) and kept it back in the fridge! OMG! When I asked him which was the egg that I have boiled, he couldn’t remember! What was I suppose to do? Crack open all the eggs or boiled them all over again? But what […]
