Resipi Kuih Keria Gula Melaka
The time spent at home has given me the opportunity to explore and improve my cooking / baking skills. The boys are constantly hungry and we are now craving for local delicacies in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan. Not that we are fasting but our friends are and their many sharing on social media is making us salivating at home.
If previous years, we will just visit the bazaar for our local kuih fix but this time, we have to make them ourselves.
Today I’ll be sharing this one minute tutorial video on how to make Kuih Keria Gula Melaka. It’s not difficult to make and I find it more satisfying to DIY as I don’t stinge on the ingredients.
Bahan-bahan / ingredients:
500g ubi keledek / sweet potato
1 cawan tepung gandum / wheat flour
Secubit garam / a pinch of salt
Gula Melaka / palm sugar
Daun pandan / pandan leaf
Minyak untuk menggoreng / oil for frying
Cara-cara / method:
Boil sweet potato until soft
Add salt and mash it
Add flour
Shape it like a donut
Fry and set aside
Melt palm sugar with a little water
Add pandan leaf for more fragrance
Once boiled, add the fried sweet potato donuts
Continue stirring until the sugar dries up
