All About Cubing

The only thing Ethan talks about these days are cubes, football and drums. So to break into his world, I made myself learn one of his language ie cubing.

The other day,  I tried to solve the 3×3 while Ethan tries to solve as many cubes as possible before I am done.

Did I manage to solve the 3×3? How many cubes did Ethan manage to solve while I was working on my 3×3?

Let’s watch to find out:

If you are keen to learn how to solve the 3×3 cube, Ethan made a tutorial using the Beginner’s Method. You can watch his instruction video here:

Or if you want to learn to solve the 2x2x2, here is Ethan’s tutorial video:

I also have a couple of Ethan’s 3×3 and 2×2 AO5 (Average of 5) videos:

AO5 3×3

AO5 2×2

Seeing how much time his elder brother spends on cubing, little Ayden does not want to be left out so we bought him a Snake Cube.

Snake Cube is good for young children as it helps to improve their concentration level as well as work on their motor skill.

Ayden made some tutorial videos for the snake cube too. You can watch them below:

We did not have such things in my time and then the Rubik’s Cube came along. Good also – may get the kids away from their smartphones.

Good that both of them are playing with cubes, much better than watching tv.

Not easy to solve the Rubix cubes. My girl used to have 9×9 cube but now dont know where it go to. Lol.

Snake cube, that is nice to get the boys busy with.

These are the best activities for our brains. Hopefully it can prevent dementia if we continue to play them.
