Drummer Ethan’s dream come true: Meeting Mad August

This date will forever be embedded in Ethan’s memory as this is the day he got to meet his idols – the members of the awesome rock band Mad August in person. When I posted some pictures on my FB yesterday, a friend commented, “They are like the Malaysia version of Beyond now” and I must agree with him. 

So not only Ethan got to meet them, he also had the privilege to perform a drum cover of one of their song 喂，我不知道! on stage in the presence of the band members. It is his first time ever to perform a drum cover in the presence of the original band. Members of the media were also present as it was the Press Conference of Mad August’s upcoming FIGHTER concert.

Mad August consists of four awesome members.

It can be nerve-wrecking to perform a drum cover in front of the original band as this is their song he is playing hence the expectation is high. 

Ethan kept his cool throughout his performance. 

So proud of him.

Lil’ Ayden loves Mad August too. Both Ethan and Ayden listen to their songs a lot so you can imagine their delight when they found out that they’ll be meeting Mad August in person. Ayden even skipped school just so he can be here too. 

The boys requested to print this priceless picture, get it framed up and hang in their drum room. I am trying to ask the official photographer if he has a better picture of this than mine.

Both Ethan and Ayden brought along their drum stick bags to be autographed by each and every member of Mad August.

Amazingly humble and friendly, they truly live up to their band name MAD which means Make A Difference. They inspire Ethan and Ayden to keep playing with passion and to follow their dreams as dreams do come true. For these boys, their dreams come true yesterday.
