What is Daun Bawang in English?

What do you call daun bawang in English? I call it spring onion. Or is it scallion? Or green onion?

Whatever the name is, I don’t or should I say I’ve never buy them. I plant them myself as they are one of the easiest to grow our own.

I grow them in the car porch in milk cartons…

And also in the kitchen for easier access when I need them quickly while cooking.

Besides using spring onions for garnishing, what do you do with them?

When I was in South Korea 2 weeks ago, I was shocked to see their spring onions growing so fat with flowers sprouting out like cottons! Now you have given me idea to share that Korean daun bawang in my coming posts.
