WARNA WARNI RAMADAN 1440H/2019 RAMADAN BUFFET AT GRAND BLUEWAVE HOTEL SHAH ALAM

Grand Bluewave Hotel Shah Alam is located merely 1.6km away from Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah; the state mosque of Selangor, Malaysia which is also the country’s largest mosque. 

As Ramadan approaches this year, Grand Bluewave Hotel Shah Alam (GBWHSA) invites all guests to iftar at their colourful themed Ramadan Buffet, namely Warna Warni Ramadan 1440H.

With the concept of ‘Bazar Malaysia Kini’, and ‘Ala Kampung’, their chefs have prepared varieties of Malay dishes menu as well as international selection menu.

Guests can expect over 100 different varieties of menu selection at the extravagant iftar feast from local state dishes, main course dishes such as nasi pakistan, nasi putih, nasi kabuli, daging tetel asam pedas, sambal tempe berlada with jering, sweet sour fish, daging salai, roast chicken, baked pasta, pizza hawaian, lamb stew and a lot more.

Individual bazaar concept stalls will be spaced around the hotel lobby featuring several theme such as briyani corner, Indian corner, Tandoori station, Chinese station, Malaysian Warong Favourite, Italian station, carving & grill station and Cita Rasa Negeri.

At carving and grill station, guests can expect to have freshly prepared whole lamb, roasted beef, grilled fish, seafood, chicken thigh and sausages with many selection of sauces such as black pepper, BBQ, air asam and sambal kicap.

Guests can also have a go at ‘Cita Rasa Negeri’ stall where we will offer varieties of dishes from local states in Malaysia and interestingly, these dishes differ every week. Among the dishes we offered are mee udang (Perak), Laksa Sarawak (Sarawak) Lonting and Rendang Cili Padi (Johor & Negeri Sembilan), Laksa Penang (Pulau Pinang), Mee Kari Nyonya (Melaka), Ikan Patin Masak tempoyak (Pahang), Nasi Dagang (Terengganu) and a whole lot more.

Following the social media hype, the highlight of the spread is the ‘Viral’ menus which are well-known in social media world such as Burger Cheese Meleleh, Char Kuey Teow Cheese, Shellout Kampong Style, Spicy Fried Chicken Wing BlueWave with Cheese and Roti John Titiwangsa.

Iftar is never complete without fresh beverages as people have been fasting for a day. Therefore, numerous selection of beverages are available for guests such as dragon fruit drink, soya bean, fruit juice, sugar cane drink and several selection of high quality tea and coffee.

Apart from the delightful bazaar atmosphere, plenty choices of desserts are a must to try in order complete the excitement of iftar. The line-up includes ais kacang with condiments, marble cheese cake, chocolate moist cake, carrot cake, chocolate brownies, assorted Malay kuih & kuih raya, honey dew pudding, bubur pulut hitam, fruit cocktail, tapai pulut, dodol, serawa pisang, banana bread, butter pudding, sago gula Melaka, and many more.

The “Warna Warni Ramadan 1440H” buffet is available daily from 7.00pm to 10.00pm from 6th May 2019 to 4th June 2019.

Priced at RM138.00+ per person for adults and RM 70.00+ per children and senior citizen. Meanwhile, for Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday, the price is RM148.00+ for 1 adult and 1 child.

There will be special discounts for early bookings and payment before 1st Ramadan (6th May 2019), priced at RM95.00+ for 10 persons and above and RM100.00+ for 9 persons and below.

For iftar events in banquet hall, the price offered is RM75.00+ with minimum 100 persons. This promotion is offered specially to corporate companies and organisation which would want to conduct iftar event in GBWHSA banquet hall.

To fill the night with barakah, diners will also get to enjoy the recitation of Holy Al-Quran and guests get to perform Maghrib prayer as well as Terawih which will be led by our Imam at our Musolla. This holy month, GBWHSA also will conduct a Charity Projet for orphans.
