Genevia Deep Hydrating Face Mask

As a stay at home mom to two active boys, I don’t have much time for myself hence you don’t see me dolled up often. I am at home most of the time too so all the more no reason for me to dress up to the nines. However, I do get the opportunity to go out and meet people every once in a while and this is my golden opportunity to put my best face forward.

I can’t take forever to get ready though so whatever works the fastest suits me best.

I met my former schoolmate a couple of weeks ago. He just got back from abroad and called me up for a meet up. I told him I can only squeeze an hour for him in between the boys’ music lesson. That’s basically the life of an urban mother. You’ll understand if you are one of them.

What surprised me was he brought something along with him during our meet up.

Knowing how time is always limited for me, he gave me a box of Genevia Skin Solution Deep Hydrating Mask from Taiwan that comes in a pack of 5’s.

The unique selling point of this deep penetrating mask is it’s quick absorption action for cell renewal in just 20 minutes!

Each piece of mask is protected by two non-woven layers which we’ll need to remove before applying onto our thoroughly cleansed face.

The Bio Cellulose Fiber Mask adheres to the contours of the face to lock in moisture and enhance absorption. It comes with eye flaps to soothe and hydrate the area around the eyes too.

Made from proteins found in stem cells, Dendrobium Candidum is the key ingredients of this mask. Also known as “Tie Pi Shi Hu” in Mandarin, it is highly regarded as the No. 1 of the 9 “Chinese immortality herbs”.

SHI HU (herba dendrobii) was one of the first members of the orchid family to be recorded by the ancient Chinese. The plant is not only renowned for its beautiful flowers and loved by Chinese for their elegance, it is also a medicinal herb used to nourish yin.

Our skin ages rapidly as we grow older due to the dwindling Yin fluid in our body. This is where DENDROBIUM plays a vital role as its mucus provides the much needed nutrition and moisture to the skin boosting skin elasticity and collagen growth.

Found at altitudes above 1,600 meters, tie pi shi hu grows very slowly and is more valuable than gold.

15-20 minutes is all it takes to regenerate and brighten the skin. My skin becomes more moist instantly. All I need is some light make up and I’m good to go.

I may be as busy as a bee but I think I can spare 15-20 minutes for fresh, supple and hydrated skin all day.
