RED by Sirocco
We had a FUNtastic 3D/2N staycation at RED by Sirocco KL last weekend. Located along the row of Heritage Row, RED by Sirocco is away from the bustling traffics yet is nearby to art galleries, local eateries, nightlife scenes and more.
This hotel features a bold mural with a height of 87.1 meters and width 20.6 meters extending the entire length of one wall with a concept reflecting Malaysia as a tropical country. This mural is certified as the Tallest Mural in Malaysia by The Malaysia Book of Records.
Local artist Kenji Chai took 10 hours to paint the mural daily and completed it in less than a month.

We were here on the weekend RED by Sirocco celebrated #REDSpooktoberfest hence the entire hotel was decorated in Halloween theme with creepy crawlies, ghost and ghouls lingering around the lobby and reception area.
The boys LOVE the creepy decors. Boys and spiders can never go wrong!
Daddy and Ayden goofing around imitating the creatures behind them
Look what’s hidden at the inner corner of this Computer/Internet space. Imagine sitting there quietly updating my blog and getting spooked by it
FULLY AUTOMATED CAR PARK
The hotel car park is located at the back of the building. It is a fully automated carpark whereby we need to get a card from the machine to gain access into the elevator. Once the elevator door is open, we’ll just need to drive the car into the elevator and leave it there. Exit the car and tap the card on the sensor and the elevator door will shut, sending the car to its designated parking space.
How cool is that?
RED INFINITY POOL
The hotel’s infinity pool transforms into a beautiful pool of RED come night time. The view is magnificent from here with TWO iconic landmarks – the Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower visible. It is a must to spend some time here just to enjoy this priceless view.
OUR ROOMS
We got ourselves two interconnecting rooms.
This is Darling and my room with a King size bed.
The boys had a twin sharing room interconnecting with us.
The unique designer bird shaped lamp caught my eyes. I appreciate such beauty ♥
Spacious and modern, both our rooms come with amazing coffee and tea making facilities.
His tee shirt says that he hates mornings but with this capsule coffee machine, little Ayden happily wakes up early in the morning to make a cuppa for me
I love it when the fragrant aroma of coffee filled the room. Pure bliss.
Or if you are not a coffee person, the classic chinese tea making facility over here is sure to impress!
We super love the bathroom’s huge and wide mirror. The double sink bathroom vanity is such a pleasure to have as we can both use the sink at the same time eliminating time wastage. The rain shower head is also a plus point for a satisfying shower.
In the evening, we get to see the beautiful city sunset from the balcony of our room.
Other room highlights include:
THE ROUGE CLUB
We had our breakfast here at The Rouge Club on Level 25 adjacent to the RED Infinity Pool.
Besides the buffet spread, breakfast is also served on a conveyor belt. Little Ayden had fun picking his preferred food stuffs.
My favourite is definitely their nasi lemak bungkus. As you can see in the picture below, it is also the boys’ favourite!
As The Rouge Club is situated on the 25th floor, we get to enjoy breakfast with the magnificent view of the KL city.
Keep calm and ignore the huge spider. It is Halloween after all
The infinity pool with KL Tower view by The Rouge Club is a picture perfect location, I just had to take a picture here. Actually I took lots of pictures here but I shall share only one so as not to spam this post
BaRnana Leaf
We had lunch at BaRnana Leaf, the hotel’s new food outlet.
The banana leaf is cut to fit onto the plate for the boys so it is easier for them to eat since it is their first time eating banana leaf rice. How thoughtful of them.
This place can be packed during lunch hour so do come early if possible.
Just look at them enjoying their banana leaf meal. They loved the fried pomfret so much that they had an entire fish each.
THE RUB BAR
A relaxing staycation is incomplete without some spa pampering. It’s massage time for the entire family at The Rub Bar massage boutique on Ground Floor just next to BaRnana Leaf.
I had a 90 mins aromatherapy oil full body massage to detox and get rid of wind.
Both the boys had a relaxing 40 mins Kids Massage which they love and giggled their way through.
The Daddy had a 60 mins 3-in-1 massage to detox and loosen tight knots.
We even mixed our own essential oil for a personalised aromatherapy lotion.
All of us had a foot bath and scrub prior to our massage treatment. My therapist, Ms Sari is very good. She managed to loosen tight knots on my shoulders and back due to my sitting long hours in front of the computer. The boys had a very fun and relaxing massage just to soothe their active body. Ayden was chatty throughout the session and his therapist Ms Ros was very friendly and cheerful, entertaining him all the way as she has a good command of English. Ethan enjoyed his session with his therapist Mr Ino. The Daddy’s therapist Jack did a great job reducing his tensed muscle and mental stress.
They do have private space for privacy and I had exactly that while both the boys had their session together.
We managed to make a video of our rejuvenating experience here at The Rub Bar. I heard they have a very good deal in a group buy website. It is worth every penny if you ask me.

#REDSPOOKTOBERFEST
We were lucky to be here during the weekend when the hotel celebrated REDSpooktoberFest.
It was free admission for the REDSpooktoberFest event. Children get the opportunity to go Trick or Treating at a designated hotel floor.
It was the boys’ first Trick or Treat experience and they enjoyed it, knocking from door to door for more goodies which they shared with their friends thereafter.
Back at the event space, there were various stalls selling food stuffs and more.
There were also games booths which the boys participated in all of them.
We also participated in the many challenges held during the event.
My little mummy Ayden was sporting enough to let me wrap him during the Wrap a Mummy challenge.
Ayden was lucky that evening as he won a number of challenges.
We went sight seeing in the evening around town as the hotel is located nearby Pavilion and KLCC.
Our family had a great time in this hotel. Their spacious room and great hospitality is definitely a plus point in KL city.
Here’s our video to summarize our 3D/2N stay here at RED by Sirocco:

Move over sikit, there is still space in that bed for me!!! LOL!!! That mural is stunning, very nice!
Aiyor, kesian!!! Buy lah pomfret tu, fry for them to eat at home. Apa kedekut sangat? Growing boys must eat more protein wor…nanti like you, so small. My girl loves it too…so I buy it all the time.
Nice place. Love the mural.
Oh, so the hotel next to Yut Kee is completed and open for business d. What a fun time your whole family has staying there.
I like to have breakfast with a view.
