PJ’s Bar & Grill is currently the highest rooftop bar in Petaling Jaya with stunning 360-degree panoramic view of the city’s skyline.

We get to enjoy unobstructed view of KL Tower and the Petronas Twin Towers from up here.

We were here recently for their Weekend BBQ Brunch happening every Sunday, from 11.30am to 3.30pm.

Priced at RM148nett per person, our brunch comes with unlimited soft drinks, chilled juices, fresh coconut water and signature coolers.

Diners can choose to dine al fresco by the breezy poolside or in the cool air-conditioned dining area.

We super love the LIVE GRILL counter.

We get to make our selection from a wide variety of seafood.

The ocean is calling us with the sight of prawns, oysters, lobsters, squid and more.

Besides fresh ocean catch, meat skewers and sausages are also ready for the grill.

Sweet corns is a must-have with any BBQ.

Our selection of fresh seafood is cut, prepared and grilled right before our eyes so we can be sure to get only the freshest and ‘hot of the grill’ meals.

The fish is cut and seasoned as per our liking before going onto the grill.

As the BBQ and grill is prepared upon order, it takes about 20 to 25 minutes for a whole fish to be done.

While waiting for our fish to be cook to perfection, we went around to check out the rest of what they’ve got to offer.

I had steak while waiting for my fish to be done. 

The boys snack on this delicious baked sweet potatoes. 

Vegetarian lasagna in individual pots. 

We love the samosa and deep fried squid rings. 

By now, our grilled stuffs are done to perfection and delivered to our table. 

Our mouth water just by looking at those juicy grilled prawns, squid and meat skewers. 

The best part of the BBQ brunch (besides the fresh seafood) is the unlimited coconut water. We just need to pick our coconuts and they’ll cut it fresh for us.

Suddenly it feels like we are in a resort on a faraway island enjoying sweet and refreshing coconut water with our grilled seafood and meat skewers. I feel like putting on a flower garland and do the hula dance there and then. 

We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch here with repeated servings of grilled fish. 

Beautiful dessert for a sweet ending to our delightful brunch. 

Local sweet and savoury delights are available for dessert too.

The brunch comes with free flow of PJ’s signature coolers. 

The boys’ favourite is the old school ais batu Malaysia.

They just love sucking on these cool treats after their hearty brunch.
