Drum with Ayden: 2018 Trinity Rock & Pop Drum Grade 1 | Another One Bites The Dust
Ayden grows up seeing big brother Ethan playing the drum and piano. It influences him to learn the piano and take up drumming too.
I use big bro Ethan’s old books to guide Ayden on the piano but that’s about it. He never pursue it further unlike drum. He requested for us to enroll him for formal lessons under Ethan’s drum teacher and we did back in June.
It has been almost 3 months now since Ayden started learning the drums. He enjoys every moment of it and looks forward to Friday as that is the day he has 30 minutes of drum lesson with his teacher.
Now, besides big brother Ethan’s drumming journey, I will also be sharing Ayden’s updates.
He is doing Trinity Rock & Pop Grade 1 at the moment and here is one of the song from Trinity Drum 2018. It’s a commercial song, “Another One Bites The Dust” by Queen.

A young drummer. I am impressed. Good that he shows interest in music. As for my Jamie, he does once a while hit some notes on the piano and guitar but that’s it. Maybe go to enrol him in music probably next year or a year later. See if he has interest. As for his brother, he doesn’t show much interest although we ask him to learn drum and guitar.
I think passion and interest is really important in learning music. We made Ethan learn the piano when he requested for drums at a very young age. Drum was his choice. He is still learning both today yet we can see that his interest is stronger in the drums.
We did not make Ayden to learn the piano as he is more playful so I cant imagine how he is going to be disciplined enough to go through it. He is making good progress in the drums so maybe we’ll just let him be with drums.
