Fly to Hua Hin direct from Kuala Lumpur
We spent a week in Hua Hin during the recent school holidays. I have always wanted to go to Hua Hin but back then it was such a hassle as we had to fly to Bangkok and then take a bus or train to Hua Hin as there were no direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Hua Hin previously until June this year.
When I heard AirAsia launched a new route to Hua Hin in June, we quickly took that opportunity to fly direct to Hua Hin.
From Malaysia direct to Hua Hin, Thailand.
It is a two-hour flight so we pre-booked meals for us. It was RM10 per meal if I remember correctly.
Ayden’s chicken rice and my chicken lasagna.
Ethan and the Daddy had chicken rice too.
On the flight back from Hua Hin to Kuala Lumpur, we had Thai Green Curry rice which is not bad at all. The boys had chicken rice again. Haha.
This is Hua Hin airport.
It is a very small airport. It is smaller than our old Subang Airport. We got stuck here for an hour upon arrival just to get through immigration. The queue was very slow moving.
We stayed at Novotel Hua Hin Cha-am Beach Resort & Spa throughout our time in Hua Hin which is just 20 minutes away from the airport.
After a fabulous week in Hua Hin, it is time to bid farewell and fly back to Malaysia.
Goodbye Hua Hin. You’ve been wonderful.
Ayden kept himself occupied by reading everything he can find in the pocket of the seat in front of him. His chicken rice came shortly after and he happily ate it. He took a short nap after his meal and before he knew it, we have already landed.
Back in Malaysia and little Ayden is all smiles.
If you are planning to go to Hua Hin, now is the right time as we can fly direct from Kuala Lumpur with AirAsia.
Malaysia really is a fantastic base for travel around Asia.
Great to be able to fly directly. No time wasted in airport.
Now so convenient to travel, I guess you can have more holiday in Hua Hin. ^^
Thanks to AA, now I can fly direct to Hua Hin. Previously my ex colleague has to fly to a different place and take another bus to reach Hua Hin. Now can save a lot of time liaw! :)
My cousin just got back from there – they had to go through Bangkok, didn’t know of this direct flight, too new. This would be so much more convenient. Sibu is the worse – go anywhere, even Penang…have to go through KL and no direct flights to Bintulu, Miri, much less places in Sabah. So near yet so far.
Thanks to Air Asia, Ayden and Ethan are now frequent flyers from a young age. So happy! :)
Thanks for sharing so much about Hua Hin. You have lured me to make some plans and book this direct flight!
