Superheroes to the rescue!

With just a blink of an eye, we are into the 3rd month of 2018. Where did the time go? Before I know it, the celebration for Chinese New Year is over.

Luckily, I managed to bring the boys to see one final lion dance before Chap Goh Meh is over though. It is the first for Ethan this year as he missed the one we caught on the 7th day of CNY as he was in school that day.

The lions were very friendly. They went around to play with the children.

They gave us oranges too; a symbolic gesture as spreading wealth to us.

Ayden was very happy to get oranges straight from the lion’s mouth.

We went for lunch right after that. The boys kept their oranges in their backpack while we had lunch but when they wanted to eat their oranges after lunch, they found that their oranges has been squashed flat in their soft backpack.

My boys are huge fans of CARS so I got those soft backpacks for them but it irks me whenever they placed anything inside such as buns (and oranges) and they all ended up squashed and flat.

That’s why I still prefer our shield bag. It keeps our belonging in place and safe. The hard case shield protects the items inside and the sidewalls of the bag are also fully padded giving that extra protection. Oranges are guaranteed safe in this bag

We don’t usually bring all 3 out at once though. The above pic was taken when we just bought them earlier this year while preparing for the new academic year. Ethan uses one for his extra activities while I use one to keep my laptop inside. We bring one out every where we go to store the boys’ as well as my belongings as these bags are super lightweight and multi-functional.
