La Fiesta @ Sky Avenue, Resorts World Genting
There is a little piece of Barcelona set on the first floor of the new lifestyle mall Sky Avenue at Resorts World Genting.

One of the more notable Spanish restaurants, La Fiesta is designed in traditional Catalan eatery style, with tiled arches, an earthy palette and muted lighting with 85 seating capacity.
Cosy and intimate, La Fiesta is a place for great Spanish food such as the Iberico Ham, Jamon Iberico, Lobster Paella and more.
The pride of place (and plate) is their Spanish Iberico pig; visibly hung in their open kitchen.
The Iberico pig is a rare breed, found only in Spain, which can trace its ancestry back to the cavemen of the Iberian Peninsula. They are prized for their heavily-marbled meat with is made into the renowned Iberico ham. The rich, nutty flavour of its pork is a result of its acorn-rich diet.
Fittingly, the best Iberico ham (jamon) is available at La Fiesta. Also in the offering is a stellar selection of Spanish cheeses.
On La Fiesta’s cheese board is the creamy and intense Tortas de Casar which is produced from raw milk from Merino and Entrefino sheep. The milk for this cheese is curdled using the natural coagulants found in Cardoon thistles.
For something decadently rich and creamy there is Arzua-Ulloa cheese which comes from the northwestern corner of Spain in the region of Galicia, and which is produced using raw or pasteurized cow’s milk. Other equally stellar cheese choices are the nutty Garrocha, smoky semi-soft Diazabal, blue semi-soft Cabrales, the famed bitey, semi-hard Manchego and the delightfully balanced Petit Nevat, with its earthy, mushroomy flavour.
Black Seafood Paella (RM 95 for Members/RM 105 for Non-Members)
One of the must-try at La Fiesta is their paella as they offers both gourmet and rustic variants of paella. We had their squid ink black seafood paella and simply loved it. It’s cooked al dente with the Spanish rice having smoky-charred aroma topped with prawns and squids.
Their tapas are also worth having. We had Calamares a la Andaluza (deep-fried calamari with garlic mayonnaise dip), Gambas al Ajillo (Garlic prawns poached in olive oil), Pulpo a Feira (Octopus with Paprika Potatoes) and Patatas Bravas (Potatoes with spicy tomato sauce).

Albondigas con Sepia (pork and beef meatballs with crispy cuttlefish)

There is also an extensive drinks and cocktails selection as well as sangrias, punches, craft beers and artisanal tonics and sodas.
We tried their Flaming Sangria.
The preparation process itself is simply amazing. It was a feast to our eyes.
A crowd-pleasing zesty and fruity sangria.
La Fiesta also scores full marks with their wine list headed by some glorious cava.
You can even witness the amazing wine bottle cutting here at La Fiesta.
The restaurant is open daily from 11 am to midnight on Saturday and Sunday and public holidays from 11am to 10pm and Monday to Thursday 12noon to 10pm and Friday and eve of public holidays from 12noon to midnight.

Ooooo…Spanish cuisine, I wish I could try. Class fine dining. That guy’s Spanish? Doesn’t look very Latino to me. :D
Ooh, La Fiesta sounds exactly our type of place.
Ooooh. I would like to be served by a good looking waiter. ^^
Everything looked amazing and delicious. Tapas and paelle for me.
The prawns and calamari tapas are so delicious! I would definitely eat them. What is the price like?
