Buka Puasa Buffet 2017: PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur

We were privileged to join our Muslim friends to break fast at Chatz Brasserie, PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur yesterday. Chatz Brasserie features a variety of traditional Malaysian ‘kampung’ cuisine including popular Malay dishes and items daily with four Iftar menus on rotation.

At the Kerabu corner, appetise with Pasembor Berlauk with Peanut Gravy, Kerabu Pucuk Paku, Kerabu Ayam Daun Kesom and Kerabu Jantung Pisang followed by traditional Ulam such as Daun Selom Pucuk Ubi, Nangka Muda, Pucuk Pegaga and Ulam Raja.

At the Iftar Mains corner, diners can enjoy dishes such as Ayam Kampung Panggang Pucuk Ubi, Ikan Duri Masak Berlada, Rendang Rusa, Ayam Kuzi, Gulai Siput Batang Keladi, Udang Lemak Belimbing, Rendang Kuning Daging, Asam Pedas Tetel Melaka, Daging Bahmia, Ayam Masak Lengkuas and Tenggiri Tempoyak Ala Perak.

At the Action station, Roti Canai, Murtabak and Chapati are freshly made to go well with Vegetable Dhalca and Chicken Curry. The Grilled Fish station features an assortment of fish with home-made sauces such as Asam, Kicap Pedas, Thai Chili and Kalasan. Mee Rebus, Asam Laksa, Laksa Johor and Prawn Mee are available at the Famous Noodles station.

At the Carvery station, a Barbecue Whole Lamb served with black pepper, mushroom and barbecue sauces. 

Ayam Percik Iftar

Ayam Percik Iftar is a dish that should not be missed as the juicy Ayam Percik is roasted with spices and sauces that are prepared by the chefs. Marination is done a day earlier to allow the chicken sufficient time to absorb the ingredients. 

Kuih-muih

‘Selera Kampungku’ at Chatz Brasserie is available until 24 June 2017, from 7pm to 10.30pm.

With unlimited flow of beverages, the buffet is priced at RM128nett per person, RM108nett per person for five to 100 persons, RM64 nett per child (4 to 11 years old) and RM78nett per senior citizen.

    I have not tasted cincaluk before. Food looks good. Too bad I don’t eat a full dinner so no go for me. :(
