Cook with Ayden: Steamed Chicken with Minced Bean Paste
Little Chef Ayden is back with this very simple recipe we learned from my mom. She often prepares this at home but instead of using pork ribs as she always does, we used chicken.
Steamed Chicken with Minced Bean Paste aka Taucu
Ingredients:
6 Chicken Drumstick
5 Cloves Garlic (pounded)
1 Red Chili (pounded)
1 inch ginger (pounded)
1 tbs salted minced bean paste (taucu)
Method:
1) Pound garlic, ginger and chili.
2) Add the pounded ingredients into the bowl of chicken.
3) Add minced bean paste.
4) Mix well.
5) Add pandan leaf.
6) Steam over high heat for 45 minutes.
It is so good, it’s bones licking good!

Add pandan leave for steamed chicken, that’s my first time saw this! For extra aroma?
Anything chicken is always my favourite. Even a small boy knows how to cook this. I must learn this simple & easy recipe.
