PLAY-DOH Town Firehouse Playset Review and Giveaway

Being a stay-at-home-mom and to home-school both my boys during their preschool years is the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. I have to admit it is more challenging to home-school Ayden compared to elder brother Ethan as Ayden is more playful. Lessons planned for Ayden are usually in shorter durations. What matters most is the learning experience he gained from all these quick sessions.

At 3 years old, Ayden’s lessons are majority play-based. We are lucky as Hasbro Toy Malaysia takes a very keen interest in both Ethan and Ayden’s development and will from time to time reward them with the latest toy in town to be incorporated as a learning tool in their daily routine.

The latest toy we got is the PLAY-DOH Town Firehouse set.

As all other PLAY-DOH products, this new PLAY-DOH Town line allows children to build up their imagination in the town they can call their own.

The PLAY-DOH Town line features different characters and sets that encourage role play amongst kids,  but for today, we will focus on the Firehouse playset.

The PLAY-DOH Town Firehouse Playset comes with:

* Four cans of PLAY-DOH modeling compound
* Unassembled two-storey plastic firehouse (with 3 walls)
* A bed
* A water cannon
* A fire hydrant
* An axe
* A dog
* A small firefighter figurine and
* An instruction manual

The firehouse door opens and closes. It doubles as a mold for creating the firehouse equipment such as axe, fire helmet and a fire hydrant.

Have a fire incident in your town? The “fire can be put off “ as both the fire hydrant and water cannon can extrude  ‘water’.

Imagine how you would like your fireman’s hair to look like –  this is Ayden’s fireman after he used some blue compound to shape the hair to match the blue eyebrows :-P

The dog can poop! LoL! This I think is one of the highlight of the set as Ayden had a hilariously good time making it poop rainbow :lol:

Kids can also create an escape pole in the firehouse for the fireman to glide down.

Watch this video of Ayden unboxing the PLAY-DOH TOWN FIREHOUSE playset, assembling it and having lots of fun putting out fire and more.

The fun is endless as this playset encourages Ayden to explore his creativity and imagination. It is nice to sit back and watch Ayden play creatively. All the kneading he does while playing the PLAY-DOH helps develop his fine motor skills and sensory experience which in turn will help him to hold pens and pencils correctly.

He also learns about colors and the scientific aspect of it when he mixed different colors that resulted in multi-color PLAY-DOH.

Ayden also puts his Mathematical knowledge into use to measure and ensure enough material is used for each sculpture.

It is also therapeutic to be kneading, molding and shaping the compound to our favorite characters that I always find myself joining him in this calm and relaxing fun too.

We want you to have the PLAY-DOH experience too. We are giving away 1 (ONE) PLAY-DOH TOWN FIREHOUSE playset (worth RM139.90) to ONE lucky reader.
