Rainy Day Activity: Toy Car Painting Abstract Art

The past few days have been frustrating as it rained in the evenings, today included. We were all ready to go to the playground but as we stepped out of the house, it started to rain :-x

You don’t know how important it is for us to go to the playground. The boys need to go to the playground to burn off whatever surplus energy they have otherwise they’ll have difficulty sleeping at night. I need to go to the playground as that is my only time to get some fresh air and out of the four walls at home but it had to rain. Of all time it has to rain in the evenings! :evil:

I have to quickly come out with Plan B to keep the boys occupied. My alternate plan always revolve around art and craft and today we did abstract art using their toy cars.

They ended up so messy I had to make them clean everything up. Surprisingly, they find cleaning up fun and had the best time ever that evening splashing away :lol:

Something to keep the boys busy. Messy and fun. Haha. The joy of mother is seeing her kids happy.

I’m so glad the rain is back! It was so hot the past week. Too bad it had to rain when you were ready to go to the playground.
